The person who initially scheduled me made it sound like the entire facility would be 24 hours. I clearly stated that I am unable to stop working and needed to find a place with flexible radiation hours. The scheduler knew this and failed to mention that radiation has certain hours they do treatments at, 7:30am-4pm. Long story short, I wasted my time today, I was there for about 4 hours just to end up disappointed. The staff was wonderful. I’m just so upset that now I’m back at square one and will most likely have to go back to my original treating facility.but their hours are also limited.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff . No wait for scheduled appointments . Food in cafeteria has a good selection and tastes good .
Great staff. But if CTCA expects you to use a wristband a better system needs to be implemented. Having to wait and even missed your appointment for a wristband is not caring for your patients. Give access to your concierge.
The cancer centers of America has been so awesome to me they make me feel so comfortable thank you very much
The word HOPE really should be included somewhere in the centers' names!Mother was a registered nursewho reached out to them years ago, following a recent end-stage diagnosis.Beginning with that initial phone call, the top-notch staff earned both her respect and her trust. If a course of treatment wasn't providing her with positive results within a few months, her specialist didn't hesitate to change course.Logical, right? We'll always be grateful for the extra YEARS of quality living that she was able to enjoy because of the CTCA's care.We offer a heartfelt THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of the wonderful team!
Worst Hospital DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. They act as if they can help. But all they do is pump you with medicine until your body gets weak. Once that happens they refuse to treat you. Weather you go to the emergency room or your admitted. Dr Beck was no help at all. Once my mom had got malnutrition he started to refuse her. Your best bet is to go to a different hospital. Especially if you caught your cancer late. Your better off trusting north western or Loyola. I don’t understand how this hospital is still treating patients. It should not be a cancer center. BASICALLY THEY DETERMINE IF YOU ARE WORTH TREATING They don’t want you if u are too sick. My mother was healthy until they kept changing her treatment every other visit. Until she got really sick
Terrific approach for cancer care, excellent physicians and support staff. I’m alive because of care received from Dr Julian Schink and Dr Adam Dickler. I recommend this hospital to everyone I know with cancer.
My Husband & I was there about 5 years ago when he first found out he had "Non Hoskins Laphoma, stage 4!" We all flew in to Chicago from FL. There was a mishap of paperwork, and we was left at the airport for 5 or more hours before we had a ride back into Zion. Our paper work said we'd arrive that "Sunday" their paperwork said "Monday!" But we finally was dropped off at the "C.T.O.A Hotel" and got settled for the night. My Husband was taken care of by the hospital staff and had many test and conversation with the Doctors ( who we're very warm & caring). The Hospital cafeteria was " Outstanding!" With food preparation, service, Friendlyness! " Why go out when the food at the hospital was 5 stars! The hotel had a huge room downstairs with hot Coffee or Coco anytime you wanted. Sew Machine, Books, Puzzles, fish tanks, T. V's, Couches, tables Chairs, Laundry Room. Upstairs in the lobby you could borrow any DVD movie to watch in your room. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I feel like my husband ( and so many others) we're getting the Care and respect of the whole Hospital & Hotel Staff. I'd recommend this to everyone in the United States ( family or Friends, Strangers) who are going through this painful time with a Loved One. We stayed there almost 2 weeks, and received the help we needed of Family, Friends, and other Cancer Victims. Love this place, and the Whole STAFF!
Hello everyone my name is Michael and I was diagnosed with lung cancer in December of 2020. A friend asked me to check out CTCA which I did and I am so happy I did. They were my 2nd opinion and they jumped right into action for me and gave me hope. I was biopsied and started chemo and radiation prior to my appointment to get a biopsy from my first opinion hospital. I did my research and knew that lung cancer is the number one killer of Americans when it came to cancer. My Oncologist spoke to me, explained his treatment plan and explained to me that their goal was cure not just treatment. Considering I had done my research and I was diagnosed with NSCLC stage 3A I didn’t really believe his outcome plan for me. After 7 weeks of radiation and chemo they can not locate any cancer in and just outside my left lung in a CT or PET scan. It’s been a total of 5 months since my diagnosis, I’m doing immunotherapy now and my last PET scan was about 2 weeks ago with all good news. CTCA gave me hope, my life back and I will forever be grateful. Don’t give up hope people and you’re definitely in the right place. Thank you CTCA!
They take good care of us. My husband is a cancer patient. They are awedome

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
