Absolutely the most educated, competent and trusted doctor/surgeon I’ve had in my 63 years of life. He is heavily invested in individualized medicine which was my particular concern as I have multiple health issues. His staff is impeccable and they highly respect Dr Schink. They are all very human and down to earth. You always have their time and attention. I will add that Dr Schink has a great sense of humor when appropriate and it lessens the stress for both me and my husband. We chose CTCA over the major hospitals in Chicago. There was no comparison in the kind of respect we received there. IT’S WORTH THE DRIVE!!!!
I had Ovarian Cancer Stage 3B 10 years ago. Dr. Schink operated on me and set up my chemo regime. The chemo was hard, but Dr. Schink was there every step of the way to cheer me on. And was always just a phone call away if I was scared or in need of some assurance. 10 Years later and I am a healthy girl thanks to Dr. Schink. Just had my CA125 and it was a 5!!!!
very calm, reassuring and kind. during a very scary time in my life, facing cancer, he was amazing. the surgery was a success and my care was exceptional
Had this doctor for cancer surgery. Only time will tell if my cancer returns. If you're looking for more than a surgeon you may want to keep looking, He seems very eager before surgery and supportive but, like many after surgery does not really care about surgical menopause symptoms or quality of life. You're supposed to just be happy you he got the cancer out. I can only hope that he is a great surgeon just does not have what it takes for patient/doctor relationships. I was hoping for more and maybe should have chosen another. Wait times are long. I was willing to wait for a great doctor but, not a so-so doctor and when you have Cancer you really want a great one right?
Dr Schink saved my life.
Superb - Highly intelligent - Totally dedicated - Sensitive - Compassionate

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
