My father was healthy until we started their treatment. All they do is pump you full of radiation and medicine until you can’t take anymore. Then they refused to treat you and basically tell you you’re going to die. My father was a police officer for over 30 years. He had been shot in the line of duty and has seen many things. I will never when forget the doctor that refused to treat him and very coldly turned him away. Essentially telling him he was going to die. It took a light out of my fathers eyes and I’ll never forget that image. I wanted to tell the doctor a few things but out of respect for my dad I held my tongue. My advice is if you love your family member don’t take them to this facility. It’s strictly a money grab, nothing more, nothing less. Find someone who actually cares about your loved one and doesn’t just see Dollar Signs when they’re going through the most difficult time of their life. We had many unpleasant interactions besides that one. However, my father refused to look at any other options until it was too late. Cherish the time you have with your family and put them in better hands than the cancer treatment center of America.
I came to CTCA to get a second opinion, I was so happy with the Drs and their care teams, they treat you with respect, I had my surgery under the care of Dr Liu and Dr Ahn who is my oncologist, everyone has been so great to me and my sister through our entire stay, This is a very good Hospital and I am glad I came here. Wonderful and awesome staff all around. Thank you so much.
They have an enlightened approach within the medicrap universe~CTCA melds east and west medicine providing reiki and immunitherapy.
My name is Selenia Kucera and I live in Michigan and I have been coming to CTCA for 3+ years. I love your facility and adore everyone of the staff. My Doctor is Evan Pisick and he is amazing and has helped me tremendously. I would never go anywhere else for my Cancer needs and Treatment. I spread the word for you all to people I come in contact with at home that have cancer. Thank you for all you do for each of us patients that you treat. Sincerely, Selenia Kucera.
I have spent 4 days with my brother-in-law and my sister both have cancer they messed up so bad a week ago on his first surgery he had to have another surgery today my sister's doctor called and canceled her appointment until the middle of February what kind of specialist does that they are not what they claim to be if I was to get cancer I would never step foot in their facility
My aunt was discharged while she was experiencing severe pain from neuropathy (a side effect of chemotherapy). She had major surgery two weeks ago, and was advised by Dr. Halabi that she would be referred to a skilled nursing facility for post-operative, rehabilitative care. Unfortunately, CTCA’s care team lacked the same empathy or expertise, and suggested that my aunt was capable of returning home without 24-hour care. As a result, her request was denied by her health insurance company. When I requested an explanation from her care team, I received inconsistent, evasive responses. As a result, I emailed Administration to inquire about how they derived to this subjective conclusion when she was identified as a fall risk, unable to walk without assistance, or use the bathroom on her own. I received a call today from Dr. Halabi’s PA, William Civiletta-Kalich, who was extremely unprofessional and condescending. I remained composed while he spoke to me like I had little to no medical knowledge. Unfortunately, he made a false assumption, then stated he would escalate my concerns to hospital administration. I am still awaiting a call. Meanwhile, my aunt was forced to discharge, and will have to pay privately to stay at a skilled nursing facility near her home. If this is how CTCA treats their aging patients, then I will never refer business to them again. My grandmother was a patient here over 11 years ago, which is why I recommended CTCA for her oncology needs. Moving forward, we will rely on other experts that can provide quality care, effective bedside manor, and genuine compassion toward their patients and their families. For the record, a “trained” PA should never say that a cancer patient, 6 months into chemotherapy, is perfectly healthy and can take care of themselves. This is very disheartening and disturbing.
COULD NEVER LOOK FOR ANY OTHER PLACE TO BE!! 😷
The cancer treatment center has no compassion for human life, they don't care. They care about insurance money and how many people they can kill. They gave my sister the Chemo pill and never followed up with her or called her back. A neighbor told me that she knew someone that worked there at the CTCA and she said that they talked about how many people they were going to kill it was a number game for them at that center. My sister forgot that another friend of hers died there.
5 out of 5 ⭐️s!! I LOVE this place and ALL of the staff! This place makes you feel welcome and not just a case #!!! They are knowledgeable and they LISTEN to you! If you have cancer I STRONGLY URGE YOU...GO THERE!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! #CTCA #theonlywaytogo #cancer #cancersucks
CTCA was amazing! We started with Washington University/Siteman in St. Louis and quickly decided to get to CTCA in Zion, IL. The entire experience was amazing (except of course the checking out the c-word part). They took care of our hotel accommodations - we stayed at the Inn on Sheridan which is adorable and dog friendly – and their staff loved on Stella every time we walked through the lobby. They have shuttle service but the weather was nice, so we decided to make the 7 minute walk to the Center each day (Mrs.) Dr. Vashi was great – and so efficient – we met her on Monday at 1 and by Friday at 10:30 we completed: Ultra Sound Insurance Benefits Session Bloodwork EKG Meeting with Naturopathic Medicine Consult Chiropractor for adjustment GI Consult with (Mr.) Dr. Vashi New Guest Orientation Covid Test Mind Body Consult Had a massage Had a Zoom consult with the Thoracic surgeon who was in Phoenix (we didn't have to wait until he returned to IL) Upper and Lower GI and report from the surgeon immediately after It would have taken us MONTHS to accomplish all of those things at our local (nationally acclaimed) cancer center. We couldn’t be happier with how kind, caring and thorough everyone was. And we were shocked that every team member we met had reviewed his files in advance, and it was very apparent they communicated with one another on a daily basis. Everyone was on the same page – there wasn’t the disconnect or lack of communication between medical professionals we experienced at our local cancer center. We love that CTCA incorporates a holistic approach including nutrition, naturopath, chiropractic, massage, and even has a licensed therapist to counsel patients and their loved ones. We’ve already told so many people if you – or someone you knows has a potential diagnosis – or diagnosis – talk to us and we’ll tell them why they should go straight to CTCA.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
