I brought my elderly father into the office for a new patient appointment. After waiting 20 minutes, I was informed that his insurance was out of network/required a referral. When I asked why this was not vetted at the time of making the appointment or prior to our visit, I was met with blank stares from the office staff There are so many ways these insurances work. I am a physician and every new patient that comes to my office has their insurance reviewed prior to the appointment to avoid mistakes like these. Elderly patients and their caregivers take a lot of time to plan these appointments. What was most disappointing was the lack of concern from the office staff some were clearly inexperienced and others simply did not care.
I’m my Opinion, he is the absolute best. If you have Cataracts or Glaucoma, he is the man to see. His son is the best Retina Doc around. Every visit has been terrific. His patients love him, his staff is great and the building and space is outstanding. Is he always in time? No, but what specialist is. I will trust him with my eyes and that’s all I can say
Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. I have been going there for many years with a variety of conditions and have found them to be compassionate and helpful. I have recommended them to many of my friends.
I don’t recommend this doctor because he is so greedy doctor if any one reads his office policy carefully will notice that they charge for patient report fee $24 plus 62 cent for each page this is really and ridiculous any other office the patient has a right to take his medical report for free when he transferred to another doctor my mam report it cost $52 dollars and this Amount is too much
Like Dr O, hate his office staff when it came time to renew my prescription. Ive never had a doctors office force me to come in as regularly as this one and they refused to renew my contact lense prescription until I came in even though its impossible to schedule at a time that does not require me to take time off from work. Its making me want to change doctors.
Dr. Osmanovic has treated our family for about seven years now. He performed a very difficult cataract surgery successfully. In addition, he has been aware of and provided care for an unusual eye situation. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
I have been going to Dr. Osmanovic for several years and the level of service has declined over the past few years. He is overbooked ALL THE TIME. I am no longer confident with his service because he does not spend time explaining just wants you to see this one or that one and do this procedure or that without explanation. I have to go online to find out what he is talking about. I have expressed my displeasure with him and staff and told them I think maybe he has one patient too many...Me.
If I would have to go to such doctors like Dr Osmanovitc I would have to be very well compensated for it.. After first visit I knew for sure that I was a wrong patient in wrong place and at wrong time. In my case doctor was not willing to explainanswer any of my questions related to performed tests and examination. Set for me another follow up visit after prescribing medication. Follow up visit was short and doctor did not give me ANY chance to ask ANY question. And it was my last visit.
I have had a handful of appointments and each experience only got worse. I will never go back! You can expect long wait times and a narcissistic attitude from the doctor and some of his staff. Its a factory line of medicaid and medicare patients to charge; they could care less about your eyes, concerns or treatment options.
We have been going to Dr. Osmonovic (Dr. O) for years. Best eye care we have had as a family. I overheard his talking to a patient (she chose to start the conversation in the hallway) about her son who was on Medicare and could not get the services he needed... Dr. O told her to bring him in and he would take care of him. I have been very happy with all their staff.
