Richard Troy's Online Review Report Card

My father has MS and has frequent UT infections. He was in the hospital for weeks. My mother nor I never talked to him once. Fortunately after explaining for days what his previous doctor in Florida did they listened to us in the hospital. No help from Dr Wu. Now he has another bad UTI again and since he was in quarantine for 14 days they would only prescribe amoxicillin which we know would work. Now he is in terrible shape and the doctor still hasn’t made contact. We left three messages. We’re called back twice and missed call. Playing phone tag cause they never answer their phone. Pathetic all around. Never go here if your situation is serious.

First time to a urologist and didn't have any idea what to expect. Arrived 30 minutes early. They took me 20 minutes early and I was out of there 5 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start! Dr Thress explained what was going on and answered my questions in pretty simple English. I felt relieved (no pun intended) and have been a happy camper ever since.

Dr. Troy has saved my life twice. Once in 2005 and again in 2017 when I was sent home from Rush wth a 3 1/2 centimeter kidney stone in my last functioning kidney.

Dr. Keuer was very thorough and informative to the point that he said I would not have to continue to see him unless there were some drastic changes in my psa score. I found that refreshing and honest, and I appreciated the information.

The commitment and care I received was amazing. Dr. Lodowsky fit me in an extremely busy schedule within 24 hours and then proceeded to fit my surgery in the following day. Everything was explained to me in a way that was easy to understand. All procedures went well. I'm very pleased and thankful!

I recently completed my first medical visit at the office of Dr. Troy. Dr. Troys staff were very professional and they asked me about my background and any concerns that I had. Dr. Troy also asked me very good questions and the exam that I received was top notch. Dr. Troy seemed to care very much about my health and offered several suggestions to me so I can optimize my health plan. Dr. Troy seems very competent and very kind two things that I look for in a physician. I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Troy and I believe that his office is run efficiently. I look forward to seeing Dr. Troy and his staff next year during my next appointment. I also am recommending Dr. Troy to my family and friends.

Urology concerns are often difficult to discuss. Especially in the absence of nonverbal feedback. Using zoom technology with Dr. Troy helped ta make the the experience comfortable and successful.

Dr. Troy has been my urological physician for several years. I continue as his patient because hes obviously concerned about my urological care. He is never rushed/hurried during my appointments and comprehensively covers any treatments and questions I may have.

I am quite satisfied with my yearly visit with the doctor check on my PSA health. After 20 years, I mostly talk to the physician assistant who is quite knowlegable, in whom I have great confidence great confidence. Many of my friends are DR. Troys patients.

Dr. Troy handled my emergency quickly and painlessly

My last appointment with Dr Troy was done online. I felt like it was an in office appointment as we discussed my health issues. Given the current virus issue I would recommend it for anyone that has any concerns but does not think they need a physical exam.

I had my appointment by phone with the dr after the nurse had called earlier for the information for the dr to be advised. It went well and would do it again.

Zoom based virtual consultation with Dr. Troy went well. Dr Troy is always conscientious and thorough and the technology did not hinder the effectiveness of the conversation.

I recently brought my 90yearold father in for a rather intrusive procedure during the COVID19 situation. My father and I were both a bit apprehensive about the visit. Dr. Troy and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They treated both my father and I with the utmost respect and took the time to explain everything in terms that we could understand. They showed compassion and also patience in answering all of our questions. We so appreciate your care and concern. I highly recommend Dr. Troy and his staff.

Hi There: I am a relatively new patient to Dr. Richard Troy, although I have been around Comprehensive Urological since my operation 3 years ago (for tests, etc.) It has been interesting to watch the transformation, because I met Dr. Troy shortly before the pandemic began and my treatments have begun during the pandemic itself. Dr. Troys office staff made it an easy transition from inoffice visits to online consultations. I think the electronics are working well. I think Dr. Troy has done an excellent job of transferring his bedside manner to the Zoom conferences. He made me feel like he was interested, had my information and gave me personal feedback on my situation. Dr. Troy I believe is a very good doctor. He has prescribed treatments for me that are well accepted medically and were conveyed to me in plain English so that I could understand and appreciate what is trying to be accomplished. I would recommend Dr. Troy for your urological health needs.

Because of the recent pandemic I was not able to schedule an in office appointment with Dr. Troy. I was offered the option of a telecommunication visit to establish a new patient consultation with the doctor. I must admit I was a bit hesitant at first but didnt want to wait for another month to see the doctor. To my surprise and satisfaction the consultation went very well. It was like seeing the doctor without the inconvenience of having to travel and risk the potential of being exposed to the covid 19 virus. The doctor went over my past history which he had received prior to my visit and confirmed what my previous urologist had recommended. Dr. Troy answered all my questions and concerns and I felt very comfortable with his follow up recommendations. A very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend this type of virtual visit to anyone who is looking for an alternative to an actual office visit
