David W Graybill's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr. Graybill 10 years ago and came back to him due to a fractured femur that was operated on during an emergency surgery in North Carolina. He was just as professional, kind, knowledgeable as he was 10 years ago. He treated me with respect, took ample amount of time explaining my rehabilitation process, and care during my recovery time.

I had a total hip replacement and recovered extremely well due to Dr. Graybill’s excellent surgical skills. Moving forward with knee replacements. I have full confidence in my procedure because of him and his fine staff.

This review is being written by a family of (multiple) ortho surgeons. This physician (Graybill) performed a total knee on my grandmother last week. After surgery he appeared too busy for questions (kept his hand on the door the entire time). More concerning, he allowed a 93 yo post-op patient to be released from the hospital without pain meds or management. Multiple attempts were made to reach out to his office PRIOR to close of business and no one answered the phone or returned phone calls. Hospital, appropriately, struggled to release her. We are now finding out that post-op follow-up visit will be done with a nurse practitioner and NOT the physician. Arrogant and unacceptable patient care and follow up. Please seek multiple opinions prior to major surgery. Be smart and ask about after care/pain management/follow up. There is absolutely no reason that this physician can’t follow up on his own patients post-op. Please have standards and don’t hesitate to hold your physicians to them.

From start to finish, Dr Graybill and CIO staff have been excellent...from surgeries to follow-ups. So glad I took the time to find Dr. Graybill and Central Indiana Ortho. His vast background, along with Mako Robotic assistance, have me back on the road to total recovery !

Dr Graybill and his staff are top notch. He actively listens and has answered questions/concerns in a way that is easy to understand. This was my second knee replacement (revision). I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially if a revision is needed.

I am/was AMAZED at his knowledge and the thoroughness of his staff and their procedures and processes. They all really have this work down to a finely tuned process and it is apparent and gives you great confidence in the outcome!!!! EXCELLENT medical provider!!!
