He is an awesome and thorough doctor and explained everything in words I could understand!! I never have problems!
I have been seeing Dr. Maier before he was at Ascension. He has been very nice to me and my husband. His care for us has been outstanding. I recommend him as a doctor.
His staff are horrible at calling in medicine. You can never see him only the NP.
If you are looking for care, compassion, and a solution to your problem, keep looking. This practice has absolutely zero concern for patient well-being. I came to this practice with a serious health condition six weeks ago, bedridden, in serious pain, projectile vomiting, that has now been plaguing me for 9 weeks going on the 10th. And I am now forced to find someone else that can address my problem. I was told this past Friday to continue to suffer for another two weeks when they have time to take a look at the problem with no concern for my current condition. Not even a prescription for nausea. I've been out of work for weeks on my back, unable to care for myself, and all of this seems to be lost on the Physicians. They simply do not care. If you value your Health and Welfare, find another practice.Update ... as of today, June 20th. My new care team is excellent. However, this is set me back and additional probably four months. This has now placed me in a very serious financial position. Thank you so much doctors.Update June 9th 2020. It's taken a lot longer than I expected. However, I'm feeling much better as of today and back to myself. I was traumatized and required psychological care due to Extended suffering. My advice is to be careful when selecting people who are responsible for your care. It was a hard lesson
Dr. Maier’s medical practice is designed to make as much money as possible by ordering medical tests that are not warranted! After an endoscopy, Dr. Maier ordered 4 separate tests that required hours of time off from work. No results were given after each test. I was told my diagnosis was complicated after each test. I had to wait 2 months for a follow up only to learn that there is nothing wrong with me other than a hiatus hernia that I have monitored for years. Dr. Maier’s recommendation was to eat peppermint prior to meals if I have reflux. I have never had reflux!! You will never see Dr. Maier until he uses up your insurance. Nurse told me I was moved to the top of the cancellation list. After 2 months I was told my name was never on the cancellation list. This man is not a doctor, he is a worn out exploiter!
I had my first colonoscopy today and it went very well. Dr. Maier was great. He explained the procedure and results to me and I was very satisfied with the outcome. There was an RN there named Tonita that was an angel. Her personality made me feel at ease and she was in the room helping during the procedure and I was more relaxed.Everyone in the office was friendly too.I would definitely want both Dr. Maier and Tonita to do my next colonoscopy.

Very helpful, with suggestions. I do some of my own homework and he listens to me and my wife and considers everything.
He is the greatest

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
