List of Mark E. Lawlor's Reviews
We moved to this area and my daughter needed a physician right away. The staff was friendly and amazing. They were able to speak with the doctor right away. Once we got to the appointment, Dr. Lawlor was amazing, kind, listened, and presented options to my daughter. Candy was so caring and empathetic with my daughter. The entire team was excellent. Highly recommended!
We have been patients of Dr Lawlors’ for years and would never consider going anywhere else… He listens, answers your questions and we never feel rushed. … without a doubt a 5 Star Dr and an outstanding staff!…. We are very fortunate to have him in Anderson
Dr. Lawlor is friendly, kind, caring and thorough. I've never felt rushed ; he always takes his time with me. The nurses, lab tech and front office staff are all friendly and efficient. I really appreciate the excellent health care I receive at this practice.
Always super helpful and friendly! Love the staff!
Dr. Lawlor is insightful. He encourages family involvement in healthcare. He explains conditions well. Phenomenal office staff.
I have had wonderful care here. I moved to Anderson and they were the first practice I tried to help me. They listened and are thorough. The whole team is great as well as Dr. Lawlor. I will stay with them! I appreciate them so much. There isn’t a price you can put on for finally getting some answers. They were able to test and find out what’s been going on and refer me as I need and/or wanted. They are managing my care even with my specialists. They have kept up with everything. They are pretty traditional practice I was looking for but with all the knowledge and resources a patient could ever need. Thank you all so much!
I have been going to Dr. Lawlor for several years now. I feel he is very competent. He always asks if there is any other concerns before he leaves the room. He is usually on schedule. Would highly recommend him.
Very rude front staff, doctor will not give you the time of day or properly treat your issues.
I am a 66 yr old woman and Dr. Lawlor is my Dr. I have been seeing him a short time find him pleasant, and addresses my concerns that's why I was completely appalled when I called the office and ask for an order for a mammogram and the office girl told me he would not give me one unless I had a breast examine! I explained to her that I am not comfortable with that and prefer not to have one, that I do my own self breast exams and have not had a breast examine by a Dr for nearly 30 yrs. But I do have mammograms every yr. She told me she would explain this to him and see what he said and call me, she did call and said he will not give me an order for one unless I have the exam! I am high risk for breast cancer seeing my mother maternal aunt both died from it and my first cousin had it. His refusal to order it has resulted in me being unable to have one until mid July and when dealing with these kind of odds and tests every day counts! I think Dr Lawlor is highly unprofessional, I know of no Dr's that demand this I have many many women friends in my church who have told me Thier Dr does not require this! I have since found a new Dr. and will not return to him I am thinking of reporting him to the hospital or the board or whoever can address this matter!
My Mother had a stroke and it went undiagnosed for 2-3 weeks. She has received medical care from Dr. Lawlor for many years. Not long after her stroke, she was taken off of a medication without proper follow up and was so distraught she cried for days. She continues to see Dr. Lawlor because she “likes” him. Her medical care has been what you’d expect in a third world country.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
