Went to him for 4 years and had physicals each time, he never listened to my heart or lungs. It's like he doesn't want to touch you at all. He keeps looking at his computer and watch, when fifteen minutes is up, he is out the door. Very poor doctor!!!!

He is always calm and willing to listen. During an appt for another reason, I became side-tracked and started discussing a medical condition that required a specialist, Dr. Sam was happy to answer my questions and be sure my mind was at ease. He cares, and that goes a long way.

Dr. Shaver is one of the best. I am shocked to see the negative remarks about him because he has always been kind and wonderful to me. I have recommended him to others. When I do not feel great, he is the first person I call. Thank you so much Dr. Shaver.

Dr. Sam Shaver and his staff are so great and wonderful. I am never disappointed after leaving his office. He and staff care about the patients. Just want to say, "Thank you" Dr. Sam and Staff for all you do for your patients and community.

Not sure what happened to others with Dr Sam but I thought he was a pretty decent guy and seemed very professional, I’m not sure what some are looking for in a doctor but I appreciate someone that tells me like it is, if I need to lose a few lbs to be healthier then that’s his job to be up front and tell me...not just give me a prescription and say see ya in 6 months.

I was 1 minute late 1 time litterly. My visit was cancelled. I got a call 2 hours later stating he is no longer my DR!

I was litterly 1 minute past my appointment window just 1 time. Two hours later I get a call saying he will no longer be my DR.

Unfortunately, unlike his father, Dr. Sam Shaver has all the people skills of Ebenezer Scrooge. He's arrogant and dismissive. If you question anything he says, he responds with, "I'm not gonna argue with you." I'd so hoped for continuity from father to son but, unfortunately, the apple fell a country mile from the tree.

Dr. Shaver is one of the worst doctors my family has ever had. He lacks compassion and caring for a person. He judges a person from the first visit. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Giving him one star is too much.
