Usman Ahmad's Online Review Report Card

Dr Ahmad was good with us for years. However, this year he gave up on me when he couldn't find my issue. We are going to have to leave his office. Why don't doctors care for their patients anymore?

I have had 3 colonoscopies in my life and this was by far the best experience. Dr. Ahmad and his staff are extremely professional and prompt. Dr. Ahmad was thorough in his post procedure discussion and answered all questions. Highly recommended!

To be fair I had my first appointment with Dr Ahmad during the Covid outbreak. The video appointment was less than satisfactory. He spoke so fast and so low I really didn't hear or understand what he was saying I asked for clarification he would raise his voice for one sentence then go back to his normal speech pattern. It wouldn't be so bad except all I could see during the video call was his cap and ceiling of the room. He told me what he wanted me to do. I did it. Didn't work and caused side effects. Called office and reported to office staff. I got a return call to come to the office to pick up samples of a different med and order for KUB Xray. I got it. Had the xray taken. Got a call from his office to increase dose of med I was already on when I started seeing him. I told the caller we had already been that route and I had driven to the office and picked up samples of the med Dr Ahmad had ordered and the order for the KUB. The samples of the med did not have dosing instructions so I had to figure it out by reading the package insert. That was 2 weeks ago. Today I got a call from his office staff and she read to me the exact same orders. Keep in mind I haven't heard anything like "we would like to see you back in....". So when I explained the caller from the office today I said "Don't you people talk to each other "? I said this is the second time I have gotten a call from this office reading to me orders I have already ready completed. She said "Well I will talk to him and get back with you ". I said unacceptable. So she put me on hold when she came back on the line she said he wants you to do a colonoscopy prep and have another appointment. I said well I would have like to already have had another appointment but you folks keep repeating instructions for something I have already done and another appointment is never mentioned. I said email me the prep and we will go from there. I slowly spelled my email address, because I know how hard it is to get information exactly correct over the phone. It took 3 times for her to get it right. We hung up without her doing anything to schedule the appointment he wants me to have. This doctor came so highly recommended by an acute care nurse who works with Dr Ahmad in an inpatient setting. That level of care he demonstrates in an inpatient setting does not translate to outpatient care
