Dr. Whipple and his staff our very professional and caring. Highly recommend!

One of the sorriest drs I have ever been to, all he is interested in is the money and not the patients. Poor excuse for a Dr. The reason for a 1 is because there wasn't a 0.

Not good. Lens tear during cataract surgery performed by Dr. Whipple. I stayed awake during surgery and heard him say, "Oh no". Not what you want to hear during a cataract surgery. I was sent to another surgeon for repair. After the incident happened, he never did speak personally with me before I left that day to get this fixed. Not sure his reason, maybe did not want to hear I was not happy? Had his nurse tell me, after I had to ask her what was happening. I had to have a vitrectomy. Had bleeds from the tear. Finally the second surgeon repaired and helped me. Thankful to him. Whipple's Office called me a few times after the incident to come for appointments. I told them each time, I would not be coming back and why. Have a different doctor now.

Great visit, doctor and staff

On Nov. 25, 2019 I had an appointment with Dr. Whipple and it was beyond an hour and a half waiting to see him. When I did finally see him, he was in my personal space the entire time. He did grab my leg as he was questioning me about my life routine. I was startled and in shock!! I looked directly at his assistant Tara (I think that was her name) and she was looking straight at me and never changed her expression. Like grabbing a patient was an everyday occurrence. It was very unprofessional to me. That was my FIRST and LAST time I will EVER see that doctor.

Made appt with Dr Whipple for yearly exam. In walks Dr Mcpike who is not an ophthalmologist, but an ootometrist. He was arrogant and didn’t seem to listen. dismissed my concern of light sensitivity as just being dry eyes. A year later I actually saw Dr whipple for exam & followup to do a lesion removal. The entire time he was removing lesion, he was complaining about being scheduled in afternoon, and his associate was out of office. I was really disappointed, as I really liked dr whipple. I chalked it up to a bad day, but..... A week later I Was in exam room to have stitches removed, and told dr whipple would be in shortly. 40 minutes later dr mcpike walks in. I told him I was expecting dr whipple, as I had questions for him. Dr mcpike said it would be at least another 20-30 minutes & walked out. When dr whipple finally came in I had been waiting over 2 hours. Dr whipple started they “share” visits, so you never know. I prefer an ophthalmologist to an optometrist, so I’ll be finding a new eye doctor.

Greedy Person, Humana has been paying this place about $2000.00 every month for the Eylea Injection in one Eye. On my last injection he informed me that this is the last shot he will give me, said Humana was not paying him which is a lie, I monitor my account online to make sure he was paid and just like clock word Humana has paid him. I highly recommend staying away from this office. The reason for the 1 star is because i couldn't give a zero and lying to me. He gives the Eylea injection because it costs $1850.00 for the injection where the Avastin only cost $50.00 and from all the research that I have done the outcome is the same, see where I am going.

I went to Dr Whipple the first time, then I went back and another Dr. saw me and suggested I come every three weeks for him to check my pressure and the last time an assistant checked it but still charged me a co pay-also I made the request and an appointment that I wanted to see Dr Whipple so they made an appointment for me now I get a letter dismissing me from their practice,because I did not want to comply with my treatment,which is completely false. I feel very offended .

When I scheduled my appointment with Dr Whipple I assumed I would be seeing him. However, without any notice, an Optometrist saw me. I wanted to see an M.D. I felt deceived.
