As the community mental health center they do their best to meet the needs of those with mental illness and addiction. The staff on the Child& Family team has over 30 years of collective experience and genuinely care about partnering with clients in progressing toward their goals. They celebrate when clients are able to "graduate" from services.

When I first heard they had a walk in clinic for counseling services I was thinking that is awesome....til I figured out you can never get in because of how busy they are and yet they wont let you set up an appointment. What a joke.

I tried calling that number, been trying all morning and no one is answering the phone.

If your insurance will cover it, go somewhere else. Long waits, high employee turnover, clients are dollar signs and not patients.

I've been to a few different places for therapy and this by far has been the best. I've had 3 different counselors since starting 3 years ago and they all have been very understanding and nonjudgmental. I recommend this place to anyone battling depression ptsd or anxiety.

Dropped my husband who has been sober for over three years to be evaluated "probation ordered" at 7 am. He was waiting when doors were unlocked. Was told at 10:30-11 to come back at 12:30. Thank God he doesn't really need your help. Sad to know there are so many that actually do need it being turned away after waiting 3 hours and told to come back. IOP was a joke. Spent the whole time arguing about how nobody wanted to be there but was court ordered that the people that wanted to be there, "I wanted to be there" were ignored. Such a joke and waste of time. I met more people there that I used to party with than I would see in a whole year of trying sobriety on my own. Actually saw people exchanging #s so they could hook up after class and get high. The drug screens were a joke. Here go fill this cup up and bring it back. What a waste of tax dollars. You'd really kind of have to be an idiot to flunk a screen that you aren't monitored on. I mean you are dealing with drug addicts. We know a thing or two about buying clean urine to pass an unmonitored drug screen, we've spent the majority of our lives lying and cheating and we are good at it. Just sad that you mix people that really do want to be sober with people that are being forced by authority figures into something they don't want. You would think being a councilor would give you enough intelligence to know this won't work. How about two groups that way the people that want it can actually spend their time discussing how to beat their demons instead of discussing how unfair it is that jonny got a ticket for marijuana and is being forced into this joke of a class. Good luck if you're going there for actual help with addiction if try NA instead.
