David C. Murphy's Online Review Report Card

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Murphy as a patient. I saw him a few times several years ago. I complained of severe pain during menstruation and I was provided with a prescription for a 'super ibuprofen' medication. This did not help. I remember telling him as much in a follow-up appointment, but nothing came of this. I can't recall what the specific recommendation was, but I think that he wanted me to try changing my diet and exercise routine, even though I told him that I had already tried that on my own in the past and it didn't help with the pain. In any case, I left feeling alienated and overwhelmed. A friend recommended another local doctor and Dr. Murphy's office staff were incredibly generous and helpful in transferring my medical information to this new office. In hindsight, I exhibited obvious symptoms of PCOS, and I needed blood work done to start work on hormone regulation therapy. Why Dr. Murphy never thought to pursue this I will never know.

I have been seeing him for three years I couldn't ask for a better obgyn he tries to fix any issues that your having very nice and he acts concern and takes time to explain the plan to resolve the issues I would recommend him to anyone

I think Dr Murphy did a good job on my hysterectomy. I became infected and he immediately knew what to prescribe. He takes his job very seriously. The more you see him the better the bedside manner gets. After visit 3 he actually smiles and jokes a bit...I like that in a Dr. Very prompt on appointment time..does not waste my time.

Condescending, apathetic, unconcerned, and sorely "lacking" in the personality department. Pretty much confessed to having an antiquated skill set. My advice, Ladies...You're better off asking a veterinarian for advice. I feel that I am being "generous" here with my comments.
