List of Dean L. Lenz's Reviews
Good experience. Had to have a procedure I was concerned about. Dr Lenz and staff kind and reassuring.
My husband and I think he’s the greatest! He is very knowledgeable and thorough! My husband had Stage 1 Renal Cell Carcinoma which required removal of his kidney! Dr. Lentz was up front with us, but at the same time he gave us confidence that all would be well. He was able to remove the kidney laparoscopically. He ordered a last minute cat scan because his first one had been done 6 weeks ago. This proved to be an important decision as a stone was found in his good kidney and that had to be removed three days before the kidney was removed. It could have been catastrophic if the stone hadn’t been removed first. He is doing well and we love Dr. Lentz. We would highly recommend him!
This many is the best. He truly cares about this patients.
He treated me with great care. He seems very concerned with my well being. Always has time to talk.
He is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anybody. He is very caring I'm concerned about his patients
Dr. Lenz is exceptional in my mind. I've been going to him for nine years now for kidney stone issues, and have had two surgeries under his capable hands with no complications. He doesn't beat around the bush (not rushed, just efficient), but he will answer your questions and hear you out if you ask him something. He's quick, knowledgeable, has a great memory, and is open-minded. That's exactly what I want in a doctor, especially when we already know what's wrong. But he is terrible about following up via phone or whatever, so call his office back to remind him or his nurses when you need results. Also, he goes into surgery regularly and can be impossible to reach on certain days. But he's my urologist for good as long as we're both around and I still need urology services.
Dr.lenz treated me very rudely and disrespectfully while i was in the hospital for kidney stones he was the attending physician and he absolutely was unprofessional he told me to shut my mouth after i asked him to explain some things to me he is very arrogant and even the nurse witnessed the exchange between us.I Have never been treated so rudely from someone.he has no bedside manner whatsoever if you want to be treated like a human being do not go here.
Dr.lenz treated me horrible when i was in the hospital for a kidney stone removal he is very unprofessional and rude.He told me to shut my mouth several times because i asked a couple questions.I went from having one kidney stone to a complete stone blockage.I would not recommend him to anyone he treated me like an animal and no one should be treated that way ever to jump on somebody with pain when they are already sick and in the hospital is wrong and he should not have done that stay away from him if you want to be treated like a human.
This is the worst experience with a doctor i have had .I had a kidney stone and strokes and i was in the hospital for them .And he was on duty and was making his rounds i was in so much pain and still had a kidney stent left in there and had a bad infection and he became irate and started mouthing me and told me to shut my mouth several times because i had asked him a question about my upcoming surgery. There was a hospital nurse in there with me and couldnt believe how he was treating me he was treating me like an animal and had no reason to behave that way he was unprofessional and beyond rude it was truly a nightmare experience i would stay away from him if i wanted to be treated like a human.
The most horrible experience I have EVER had with any doctor my entire life. He lacked empathy and understanding, and the actual kidney stone surgery/stent was unbearable to the point I have memory lapses due to the level of pain. He disregarded my excruciating pain, even when I was in the ER. He demeaned me during the stent removal by saying I was physically "sensitive", as well as talked over me as I cried, and ran off with the nurse, leaving me undressed, messy and crying. He talked fast, rushed, seemed very arrogant, and didn't really 'listen.' Then after the stent was removed, I urinated very high levels of dark blood for at least 3 or more days. Note that a later surgery with a stent from a different doctor/provider less than two weeks later was COMPLETELY different, with NO stent pain after surgery, as well as only pink urine for a day after its removal. The differences in the experiences were like night and day. Also, the REASON for the second surgery elsewhere is because Dr. Lenz left a large stone in my left kidney that he could have removed when he was doing surgery to remove the stone in my right ureter. I would warn ANYone against seeing Dr Lenz as they will not be treated well or listened to, will be in pain and disregarded, and may end up seriously injured if he continues being dismissive and arrogant with patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
