Elizabeth A. Case's Online Review Report Card

I had a very high risk pregnancy. I was seeing another doctor in a different town for the first 18 weeks of my pregnancy. Due to my original doctor becoming ill I went to see Dr. Case. I feel I received exceptional care under her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/GYN. She is kind, caring and honest. She gives it to you straight but in a kind and gentle way. She listens when you talk and gladly answers any questions you have. When I saw her she was at Central Baptist just to clarify. No matter what hospital she is at she is a wonderful doctor.

She really cares and spends time with her patients. I have had very few doctors that listen and partner with you in your health care. I have followed her to her new practice because I love the care I have gotten.

I started seeing Dr. Case for infertility after a NP that I saw, and loved, left the practice. Dr. Case had a lot of great suggestions, but was also scattered and hard to follow. She said that she would make several referals but never did, made a dosage change in medication but then changed her mind after I had been taking it for a week, and then set up appointments knowing that she would be quitting. When I called to confirm my appointment a week after I last saw her I was told she had left the practice. So now I am back at square one with a new doctor.

I went to Dr. Case because she seemed to get good reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have the same good experience that others may have. I was in terrible pain ( I've experienced pain since I was a teenager and have had cysts in the past) and had hoped Dr. Case could help me figure out what was wrong. After several visits (waiting for over and hour in the lobby each time) Dr. Case still had no guesses (other than an infection) as to what could be the issue. I had done my own research and finally asked her if she thought it could be endometriosis (we knew it wasn't a cyst from a CT I had done earlier in the year). She told me no, and gave me a look as if I was dramatic. She told me to see a gastro doctor. Well I learned to live with the pain for about 6 months until my husband and I had trouble getting pregnant. I went to another OBGYN and based on my symptoms he immediately thought it could be endometriosis. I saw yet another OBGYN at the same office and he agreed. I had surgery and they found endometriosis as well as some other problems possibly caused by the endometriosis. If I had stuck with Dr. Case I'd still be in pain and unable to get pregnant. Those are very big, life altering problems. I urge you to pay close attention to your body and if you know something is wrong, see another doctor if the one you have dismisses you the way Dr. Case did.
