Misdiagnosed bradycardia as "superior conditioning" because I weight train. I then went on to develop AFib!!! I should have been sent to a cardiologist immediately for a further workup when the bradycardia developed.
Dr. Miller is an excellent listener and does an outstanding job of describing problems and solutions for knee pain. I highly recommend him.
I like Dr. Miller a lot, but IU Health needs an extreme makeover in every aspect. It seems more like a marketing company fulfilling its own promise rather than serving patients. The core mission of IU Health is making money, not serving the community of patients, doctors, and nurses. I suspect that poor infrastructure makes it easy for things like tests and referrals to fall through the cracks.
The doctor seems like a good one, but the staff seems incompetent. I have a long running issue with the billing for a colon screening test. The laboratory indicated that they needed an authorization for the test from the doctor, the insurer agreed that the doctor needs to authorize the test and provided a fax number. Three times I've called and left messages asking them to submit the authorization. They have yet do so. They do not return my calls to tell me that they have not done so nor why they have not done so. Update: Eventually, someone from the office contacted the insurer and the service provider. She became convinced that she did need to submit authorization. She did so, and also contacted me to let me know that they had done so. The claim was finally approved, saving me over $400. But it should not have been so difficult and I will never forgot the arrogance with which I was told "We certainly don't have to do anything" when I first reported the problem to the doctor's staff.
Misdiagnosed my brother. Stated he had a cracked rib. Correct diagnosis within 30 days of office visit: Stage 4 lung cancer & pancreatic cancer
I was able to get in to see him quickly. He has a very nice way about him that makes it easy to communicate. I felt he really listened to me and gave my problems a thorough consideration. He actually called to discuss the results of my MRI. I am very happy with this physician and can recommend him without hesitation.
He is an awesome Doctor. he listens. he cares
Front office staff have a serious attitude problem. Left to sit in waiting room while every old person was taken. Husband and wife had appt at same time, she was on phone, they should have been skipped but no I was left to sit and wait while she finished her call. They took them in, then called me. The best part is they put me in a room next to them, I could hear the Dr go into the room and attend to them, then finish and leave. They had completely forgotten I was in the next room. It also took this Dr over a year to refer me to a Neurologist for severe leg pain. I now suffer with major nerve damage that could have been dealt with sooner. As for his knowledge he looks at Wikipedia alot. Kinda creepy when you are suppose to put your life in this guys hands. NOT ME ANY MORE NO WAY JOSE!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
