List of Amanda L. Born's Reviews
I saw Dr. Born for a surgery, I use to see a midwife. I expressed valid concerns about surgery and she said “if you don’t feel comfortable, don’t do the surgery” vs. agreeing to do clotting testing or reassuring it wouldn’t be an issue. Upon meeting for the first time at surgery. She was very short and when she asked if I was sure I wanted the surgery, I stated yes and why. Her response was “I don’t need to know why- just needed to hear you say it” and then left the room. That was the last I saw hee until the OR. I came in 2 weeks post-op for a possible infection in the incision. I showed up and she ended up switching to have a different provider see me. Which was very off putting that she did not care to see a patient she just did surgery on to check the infection herself. If I wasn’t in a time crunch with insurance, I would’ve absolutely switched offices. I will not recommend Dr. Born. I felt she lacked compassion and bed side manner.

Dr. Born is short and sweet to the point. Appreciate her care and willingness to listen.
I found Dr. born to be very kind and very helpful and very thorough. I enjoyed working with her staff and they were very professional and very thorough also.
I found Dr. Born to be quite thorough in her clinical approach to me as a new patient of non childbearing years. She patiently answered all of my questions and provided excellent guidance, instilling confidence in her as a practitioner.
It was simple and easy to get registered and doctor was nice. Getting home is complicated with the double roundabouts and extra crossovers to get on 31South but otherwise okay.
Dr. Born is incredibly knowledgable and patient. And the entire office is amazing
For now I had a good experience with her however I will love her to give me more time as a patient to go over my concerns. Thanks
I really liked her. She took her time asking questions.
She seemed pretty uninterested and didn’t really talk much. As if she was ready to get out the room. I spoke about my symptoms and some concerns. And didn’t really respond to my concerns except for letting me know I’ll be getting baby aspirin around 16 weeks to help with my pre eclampsia. I’m was a bit concerned because I was in the ER for having eclampsia right after my last birth. Hoping I just had her on a bad day and she isn’t always like this….

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
