My father is currently getting injections to help reverse an issue with retinal bleeding. It is a really uncomfortable experience all around. The staff that work here make all the difference in his treatment and recovery. They are some of the kindest, most attentive and patiently professional people I have ever interacted with in this industry. We are both thankful every time we need to have this procedure done. Dr. Rita Singh and her staff, especially Emily, make this process worth every drive in to see them. You are in extremely good hands here whether at this site or in the Muncie offices. With the recent decline in medical confidence in our nation during the post Covid era it is a blessing to work with an organization that doesn't just deliver on their profession but consistently over deliver. We are overwhelmingly grateful to them.
I love this doctor, but the wait times are absolutely ridiculous! My apt was at 10:00am and it is 10:30. Still sitting here waiting just to be dilated. I am never coming back here again.
I recently had a detached retina. Dr. Kaehr and his team performed emergency surgery on a Saturday. The surgery was successful. AVRUC was there for me throughout the whole process including follow up appointments. I am thankful they were able to save my vision. The facilities are very nice, and the staff is courteous. I highly recommend this practice!
Simply the best retinal surgeons in the state of Indiana. Dr. Moorthy saved my sight, and continues to see me yearly for follow up. Nurses are outstanding. Office staff as well.
The doctors at this practice are some of the most competent and compassionate doctors I have ever met. Their clinical and surgical work is exceptional, and they are great at helping patients feel at ease even when patients are experiencing difficult and complex medical and surgical issues. This is the practice where I send all of my own patients who have been very happy with the care and come back with great results, and this is where I would send my family to if they developed any retinal issues.
I took my 88 yr old father to his appointment and we were there for over three hours! This place is the most inefficient medical practice I have ever seen. It was a complete circus as we moved through six different rooms having various diagnostics and pictures taken. The rooms were on opposite sides of the building so it was back-and-forth, walking and waiting and it was exhausting. When finished with this process, we moved to the final room to meet with the doctor but before she could give my dad a diagnosis, she needed to review all 72 pictures and videos that were taken. With us in the room, she actually scribed during her review which added another 10 to 15 minutes. As she scribed, we could hear words like bleeding, detachment, abnormal...which was incredibly scary. She finally explained to my dad his condition and almost in the same breath said he'll need monthly injections. I believe the doctor was competent, but she was rushed and curt, and the whole experience was awful. He won't be going back.
The doctors are excellent but the way the office is set up is HORRIBLE. You wait forever and then you have to haul your almost 100 year-old parent up and down the halls for 100 feet from one side of this factory to the other side to different rooms after you’ve waited a half an hour To see one person and then the other side to see The doctor while there are 50 people working there standing around doing nothing but talking then to pay the bill online is complete torture!!!. I spoke to one nice person trying to get signed on and then was left a very read message saying my bill was paid already. Will be searching for another doctor.
I see Doctor Moorthy here. He’s a great eye doctor!
I was here with my dad for 1 5 hours. They had an emergency supposedly, but did not tell us. The wait was too long both times we have been here! If we were 10 minutes late we would be cancelled !!! You also have to walk back and forth from one side of the building to the next . Not a very efficient buisness . Not impressed and wouldn't reccomend this place
Dr. Bucher was kind enough to see me on a weekend after I experienced a retinal detachment. He also performed my surgery the next week, and saw me for follow up care. He was professional and compassionate during every one of my visits, and I would recommend him without reservation to any of my loved ones.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
