Hui Bae Harold Lee's Online Review Report Card

Dr Lee was the best. He got me in right away and provided a detailed exam. He was an active listener and patient with all of my question. I highly recommend!

Dr Lee is an amazing doctor. I was referred to him by my primary physician. I called and the front desk got me in within a week due to my circumstances. They explained that his schedule was packed but could fit me in. When I got to the office, it was busy. I did have to wait for a little bit, but I didn't mind since they got me in so quickly and I understand he is in high demand. Dr Lee pretty much saved my vision. I owe him so much gratitude. I am so thankful. I wanted to say thank you Dr Lee and his staff.

I had a droopy eyelid, I was referred to Dr. Lee .He spent exactly 3 minutes with me and determined that I need a surgery and that my insurance will not pay for it. Boy was he wrong !!!! I just completed my eye surgery 100% success and my insurance did pay for it!!!! So from $14,000-$50 deductible. I repeat... do not trust Dr.Lee!!!

Dr.Lee is a professional and a wonderful Dr. He takes his time with you and addresses all your concerns and then suggests a plan. I also needed to get in before the end of the year due to a high deductible with our insurance starting over on January 1st and he was able to see me at the end of the day to perform the minor surgery on my eyelid. He is friendly and thorough. I saw him two years ago and came back this time due to his skill and he is a wonderful Dr which is so rare to find a Dr who is caring and also has high level skill.

Waited over an hour. Once I finally got in, I of course had many questions. After less than 10 minutes he said he had to go to see other patients. It was a abrupt ending to the useless office visit. I paid the $150 to see him, but would never recommend him.

Saw Dr Lee recently for an appointment for a cosmetic procedure. I am almost 50 years old and want to refresh my face. I was thinking of doing a little lift to hide my wrinkles and age. Dr Lee came in and listened to all my concerns and went through all my options. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and kindness. After going through all my options, we decided that Botox was the best procedure for me. After a few days after the injection, my face looks so youthful and my skin was 20 years younger. I am so thankful I decided to go to Dr Lee. He saved me a lot of pain, money, and time. I will be telling all my Friends and family about Dr Lee. He is the best and I will be going back for more services.

The bottom line is that he is interested more on his practice revenue than taking care of patients because it seems as his office double/triple book all his patients on one day. Also, I have an impression that he over books his surgeries which explains his behavior on our surgery day. Don’t even expect to see him right after surgery in recovery rm, all you are going to get is a phone call from him to the guardian right after surgery. We were used to seeing a dr coming to recovery rm to explain everything even after a little procedure, so we were disappointed again. I wouldn’t recommend him unless the eye surgery you are going to have is only can be performed by him due to his specialty, but there are other eye surgeons who specializes same area out there.

My husband and I were both his patient. Office waiting time to see him are always least 1 and 1/2 hr. Least an hr wait in waiting area then another 30 minutes in the exam rm. Other dr offices, if we wait more than 30 min then dr tells us he is sorry for our wait. This dr has to know our time is valuable as his time. I went to see him for possible infusion treatment called Tepezza for my thyroid eye dz. He even didn’t bother to consider it for me, but just saying it is not available due to covid (supposedly the company was making covid vaccine bottles), but actually What I needed was a surgery. But, the medicine, Tepezza was doing a TV commercial during that time plus soon after, it was available. I went to see another ophthalmologist who agreed that I am a right candidate for Tepezza treatment. Wouldn’t you want to try medicine first before a surgery if you were in my situation? But he being a surgeon, all he wanted to do on my eyes was a surgery, nothing but the surgery. My husband just had a eyed lids surgery from him. Right before the surgery, in the prep room, we asked him if he can perform the surgery from the beginning to the end all by himself, not finishing by assistant (fellow). We asked him that because finishing of eye lid surgery is very important since it would determine crease of eyes and it is involving a face being an eye surgery. I wouldn’t care if it was another body part. But, he said “If I do that, I will be here until 10 o’clock, and if that is what you want then you came to the wrong doctor!”. If I was my husband, then probably I pulled out my IV and left the prep room. My husband also being a doctor, and me being a pharmacist, I don’t think it was a unreasonable request plus his ex partner (who retired), he was gladly did it for our son’s surgery more than 10 years ago. This doctor could have explained to us nicely and professionally if it wasn’t possible nor he didn’t want to do as we requested. When our son had a surgery with his ex partner who retired, I asked him same thing , and he gladly did for us. But Dr. Lee’s reply was “If I do that, I will be here until 10 o’clock and if you want that, you came to the wrong doctor!” If it wasn’t possible, he could of say more nicely and professionally. But all he wanted to do on me was a surgery because he is a surgeon. Bottom line is that we both had a bad experience with this doctor. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor unless the surgery is the only option for you.

Dr. Lee was recommended to me by my regular opthamologist for surgeries on my eyelids. He completed the first surgery in 2014 which was to shorten the muscles in my eyelids. I had the second surgery in March, 2017 which was to remove excess eyelid skin. These two conditions were hindering my field of vision. I found Dr. Lee to be an extremely considerate, knowledgeable, and professional doctor. Dr. Lee made sure I understood the risks and benefits of the surgeries. A wonderful doctor.
