List of Jason R. Kovac's Reviews
Always helpful and knowledgeable. Helped us w first child and now working on baby #2.
Very challenging to schedule with. . Scheduled a fertility appointment two months out, a few weeks before they pushed the appoinent back anotheronth. After appointment, had to wait three weeks for follow up appointment even though blood work was back next day (why not schedule the follow up appointment when you schedule the first appointment of you know you'll need a follow up for blood work?) Had a telehealth appointment scheduled for 2:00, never showed, then called at 4:30 to try and reschedule but husband was at work and couldn't answer. I tried to reschedule and he caught an attitude with me because "he's got a lot of patients and no openings for months". If that's the case, HONOR YOUR APPOINTMENT TIMES so we don't need to reschedule in the first place. Very frustrating in the midst of an infertility journey. Go to anyone but this doc.
The best doctor in the midwest. Saw me promptly, treated my issues with a kind and compassionate mannerism. Highly recommended.
So let me say the reviews about wait times and not being able to speak with someone are not just related to his office. It’s healthcare in general. Review is supposed to be about physician. Kovac knows his stuff and he does care about his patience. Yes you have to wait to get in and yes it takes a bit to get a call back. He realizes that and is working on those issues. Would highly recommend Dr Kovac.
First of all I will say stay way from this doctor, when we were checked into the room. we waited for 1 hour not count the amount of time we spent at the reception. When he finally show up in the room he just rushed us through the appointment and will not answer any of our question or let us talk that is the worse experience eve. we are definitely not going back, very unprofessional
we waited for almost an hour to see he and when we did he just rushed us through the appointment. nothing good came out of that appointment
My husband can’t get through to a live person when he calls the office. I’ve tried calling too, and each time we call, we have to leave a voicemail and wait days and days to get a return phone call. Dr Kovac seemed knowledgeable, but his staff leaves a lot to be desired.
First of all, let me preface this by saying I love Dr Kovac. He is an excellent physician and his bedside manner is great! My reason for 2 stars is communication. I always have to reach out for test results and I leave multiple messages and still cannot get calls returned. When you are paying out of pocket for a surgery not covered by insurance, you expect a certain standard of care. I believe he is just bombarded and has very little staff to help field the calls. I’m sure working for a company
I'm 37 years old and have never written an online review for anything in my life. I STRONGLY urge you to stay away from Dr. Kovac and his staff. I've unfortunately had to see them on 4 occasions now and Dr. Kovac, Kyle Kraber, and their nurse Cornelius are the absolute worst. They could not care less about the well being of their patients. Terrible follow through, terrible responsiveness, terrible doctors, terrible everything.
Dr. Kovac is very knowledgeable and incredibly competent. He is also very personable. The staff are friendly, helpful, and work great together as a team. Would highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
