Total anterior replacement on 4/12/23. Cannot believe how well I feel! No pain. Prior to surgery I was in pain constantly and walked with a limp due to the bad hip. I followed his instructions and did PT by the book and am so happy with the results! Dr Hur is my hero and Forte Ortho is the best!

I am 9 years past the right hip replacement surgery Dr. Hur did for me, and I have never had any problems whatsoever. If I ever need my left hip joint replaced, he is the one I will contact.

Right anterior hip replacement with Dr. John Hur on Jan 18th 2023. Today is day 8 post surgery. I am astounded on how well I feel. My pain before surgery was often level 8-9 and I was so afraid of the surgery pain. Since the surgery my pain hasn't been more than 3-4 and maybe a 1 since day 4. All of the staff was amazing at Forte and they also took great care of my wife when I was in surgery. I can't say enough great things about my experience. Everyone that has seen me after has been in disbelief of how fast my recovery has progressed(I was walking without my cane by day 5) They have this down to an exact science, even down to the days, hours and minutes leading up to the moment they take you back for the actual surgery. I can not fathom how my experience could be improved. Forte, Dr. Hur and Franciscan are a team that I don't think can be beat. I will probably need to have my left hip done in the near future, after my experience with my first hip at Forte with Dr. Hur I have ZERO nerves, fear or anxiety of scheduling it ASAP.

Waited 3 months to see this highly recommended dr for bilateral knee replacement. He clearly has too many patients to be bothered speaking to me. Did not tell me he doesn't do bilateral. Told me incorrect and disturbing misinformation about ibuprofen and liver damage. No way this guy's cutting on me.

Very pleased with my total knee replacement surgery doctor John Hur and his staff did an excellent job meeting all my needs I felt very comfortable and cared for during my procedure. My knee is healing beautifully I am following Doctors orders doing exercises and getting lots of rest. I will definitely refer friends and family to Dr Hur in the future for their orthopedic needs my experience has been wonderful thus far thank you Doctor Hur and staff.

Total hip replacement in 2021. Dr. Hur is a tremendous surgeon that I highly recommend.

Well going on my 2nd year with my new hip. Went through the airport through the metal detector and I had to really think hmm why did I set that off. Oh yea! My hip !! My hip feels like I have never had a hip replacement and that is amazing!!! I just rode a bike through mountains in Colorado. Walked through mountains to watch my son get married at a gorgeous backdrop Went down a alpine slide down the mountain. Seriously Dr Hur does an amazing hip replacement I can’t recommend him enough. I’m 50 years old had my hip done at 48 years. I was in so much pain some days my leg almost dragged as I tried to walk. I woke up with zero pain from surgery. And was using one crutch after two days in a walker. Within 7 days I was walking with no help. His bedside manner and personality are great too. He does the anterior incision which makes recovery a lot easier.

It is so important to have transparency on the quality and individual care offered when choosing a physician. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of my hip replacement surgery. From the initial meeting Dr. Hur explained what to expect prior to surgery, during surgery and post surgery he answered every question I had. He even offered some dietary hints to help me along with the healing process. I went to being unable to sleep at night due to the pain in my hip to walking, biking and exercising again, all things I had been unable to do for sometime prior to surgery. I recommend you consider Dr Hur as you begin YOUR selection process. Thanks again to Dr Hur and your entire team.

Dr Hur is outstanding! I've had both hips replaced, Dr. Hur did the second. Absolutely the experience/recovery Dr. Hur described would take place, recovery much quicker than the first hip (procedure done by another physician). Follow-up is excellent. Very easy to communicate and get sound advice. Highly recommend!

I got a hip replacement by Dr. Hur after another family member got a knee replacement, and I could tell that he did everything possible to address the issues prior to surgery. Dr. Hur is THE GUY for knee and hip replacements, and for treatment short of surgery. He also did a great job of explaining what involved and what to expect.
