List of John W. Dietz's Reviews
I've been his patient since April 2009...to say he has my complete confidence is an understatement, but I have no better words. He is an awesome doctor AND person. He ALWAYS takes the time to not only listen to my input but to explain in detail what is going on with my conditions and what his solution is / solutions are (as the case may be). I couldn't be in better hands!
I saw Dr. Dietz for chronic low back pain. He is a doctor who listens and explains. He took ample amount of time to listen to me. Additionally, he spent a lot of time explaining to me my issue by having both my X rays and MRI's on his screen as he labeled my various lumbar levels and arrows which pointed to problem areas. He asked me questions and made sure I understood what he was talking about. Although I came to him for a second opinion, I believe he will be my primary orthopedic specialist.
I have been seeing Dr. Dietz for 20 years. He always listens, explains his needs to make a diagnosis, explains the diagnosis and then provides treatment options that are in the best interest of his patient. He is not afraid to refer his patients to another provider when appropriate.
I echo all the 5 star reviews posted before. Dr Dietz is an exceptional man. So happy to have him in our community.
Dr. Dietz was very attentive, compassionate and gentle. He went over my MRI step by step and ecplained why surgery would most likely make my issues worse. He referred me to a physiatrist where hopefully I will get some answers to pain relief. This is a life long issue and I am hoping for a better quality of life.
Wow! What an amazing doctor! He sat and let me tell him everything that was going on, asking me questions throughout. After a quick physical examination, he knew immediately that I would need surgery. He then pulled up my x-ray and MRI on the screen, positioning it so we could clearly see it. He explained in detail every single thing we were looking at. What was healthy vs what was damaged, etc. He literally typed in words and used arrows on my MRI to clearly show the different areas before he printed them out to take home! Again in great detail, he explained the surgery he'll be doing, including the pros and cons. I see a LOT of specialists and I have to say Dr Dietz tops them all!
Saw Dr Dietz for chronic low back pain. He spent a good amount of time explaining my X-rays to me snd he didn’t try to upswell me on any treatments that Aren’t necessary.
Very good and thorough with explaining my condition. Discussed his recommendation well.
Fantastic doctor...takes the time to explain and knowledgeable. Cant say any thing more but he is one of the best
Dr. Dietz did a fusion of all my T 's 25 years ago. I have not had any problems since. I am forever grateful to him for his skill, his kindness and willingness to listen to each and every question I had at each visit with no show of impatience. He actually listens which is so rare, not just for doctors, but anyone. He remains one that I count as a blessing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
