Kenneth Ney's Online Review Report Card

Two weeks ago I callasped at home was non responsive. The EMT'S took me to Logansport Memorial Hospital ER. My blood pressure dropped to 66/33. I only have 1 functioning kidney which had a stone blocking the tube not allowing urine to pass and a severe infection blocked and turned Sepsis. They injected strong antibiotics directly into the artery in my neck to stabilize my BP. Sent me to St. Vincent's in Carmel. Dr Ney inserted a stent. I've was in ICU for a few days then moved to a regular room. I've had a follow up. He was very kind, attentive and professional. Next I will see him for Lithotripsy. And removal of the stent. Excellent medical team. Angels and prayers.

Made no effort to find best solution to my problem. Didn’t give a full exam and jumps to pills with out listening to patient. Very cavalier attitude is a instant turn off. Will not return for follow up, going some were else.

Dr. Ney did my cancerous bladder polyp removal 8/2020 at the Naab Road Surgery Center. I am very pleased. He has communicated well with me and I am very grateful to have met him and to have him as my doc. I plan on doing exactly what he tells me to do. He also has been very good at educating my wife and me regarding this bladder cancer.

Great bedside manner. Took time to explain to me my condition and options.

He did a great job on my vasectomy. Highly recommend him.

I found Dr. Ney to be wonderful. We first met in the St. V's (96th St.) Indy emergency room at 5am where he had to use a scope to "cath" me. Dr. Ney then called my daughter, in Denver, right after my surgery giving her a full update. Since then, after 2+ months on an anchored cath--I had TURP surgery and now -- I am "cath" free, voiding pretty much normally & I am sexually active. I feel like Dr. Ney has turned my life around. I don't want a lot of blah, blah, blah. Just the facts--and Dr. Ney gives you just that. I am stunned to believe anyone does not think he is the "best" in his field.

Very compassionate and experienced doctor who helped my husband through some vexing urological issues. His NP Mary is the best, and tech Kim was great too. Highly recommend this team.

A very poor communication and follow up . I had to find a new urologist,who has provided a personable and the highest level of care.

Had extremely frustrating experience with this doctor and Urology of Indiana! Poor diagnosis, delayed treatment, hostile staff (the scheduler has a lot of attitude and talks you down for whatever reason I can never comprehend), no care or sympathy for patient's situation at all! If the above is not bad enough, they would ask you to keep coming back for treatments where you could get it done only once somewhere else which made me think these doctors don't represent patient's interest at all. I meant every word I said above. I don't even really write reviews much - never wrote a review for any doctor until some terrible experience with Urology of Indiana and want to warn people to stay away. I saw this doctor along with Dr. Scott Pike at Urology of Indiana had terrible ratings and was concerned. However, due to the lack of access and being comforted by the staff at front desk "I would have these doctors perform on me. Online ratings are not reliable..." I scheduled diagnosis and treatment with them anyway. In the following one month or so, only poor judgment on treatment, treatment that did not work and endless scheduling and delay left me in pain and confusion. It was AWFUL! Be smart to stay away, truly!! Even other places might require a longer wait, it's better than getting wrong diagnosis, delayed or even non-needed treatment from the doctors who don't represent patient's interest at Urology of Indiana.

Dr. Ney provides exceptional care. Not only does he give me comfort that I am getting best-in-class care, I can tell that he cares about me, personally. I so appreciate his “bedside” manner and the way he really listens to me as we make decisions together regarding my care.
