Dr. Weddell would not do any work on our 6 year old son on his second visit to her office after we mentioned that we were told we MIGHT want to get a second opinion on her treatment plan which involved over 6-7 crowns, a tooth extraction, and multiple fillings. We assured her that we did not question the need for the more emergent work, as we were aware that he was experiencing pain. Despite this, she simply told us she would not do any work on him because we were questioning her treatment plan. NO good medical professional should fear someone even MENTIONING a second opinion, especially when someone gets told their 6 year old has 12 teeth requiring either fillings, crowns, or an extraction. (For the record, we're aware he had at least a couple of problematic teeth, and weren't even saying we necessarily didn't believe her assessment. We were just told by a family friend that the extent and number of crowns, fillings, etc. was very unusual and we might want to consider having someone else take a look...) Needless to say, we will NOT be returning.

Always have a great experience here. We have a special needs son and any type of docter visits are hard and a cause of high anxiety for him. Dr Waddell and her staff have done so well with him that going to the dentist is a pretty easy visit for our son now.

Poor bedside manner. Won’t answer questions. Does not provide treatment options. Possibly would be better caring for adults. Both my kids asked to never go back.

Dr. Lauren is a terrific pediatric dentist: competent, warm, and a great communicator. She always listens to both kids and parents, and is willing to go an extra mile to ensure her young patients’ wellbeing. My daughter has been seeing her for five years, and we plan to remain at her practice until it’s time to move on to an adult dentist.
