List of MIchael A. Behforouz's Reviews
Thorough, professional, friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Dr. Behforouz is very highly skilled, keeps exacting records of my eye care, has treated me with utmost civility, and always asks if I have any other questions for him, at the end of our visit. He got his degree at renowned Emory University, so I knew his medical background was good. Remember you’re partners in your healthcare so always give full information.
Dr. Behforouz and his staff are attentive, personable, and professional. I had cataract surgery. The information I received before was detailed, clear, and helped me feel in control of the process. In each step I felt listened to, educated, and respected. Dr, Behforouz's high ratings are well deserved.
The best care, physicians & staff! From the appointment scheduling to check out, nothing less than quality care and service. Patient, competent, thorough & kind. A rarity in today’s medical environment.
This was an annual eye exam and I was there for 2.5 hours. He seems to use a lot of gadgetry and the vision test was very poorly administered. The waiting room was very crowded with patients, a lot of people coughing, no one was wearing a mask.
My first and only visit was horrible with Dr Behforouz starting with the front desk. Front desk was rude and Dr Behforouz was condescending to me. He ask what issue I was having with my vision and when I tried to explain, he could really careless (at least that was his attitude) He never explained why I needed glasses and how wearing progressive lenses will be. I was handed a script with a 20/20 Left eye and a 20/15 Right eye. I assumed 20/15 was a bad thing, thus the reason for glasses. Since I am not an eye doctor and have never had issues with my eyes, I had know idea what this meant. I only chose this office because they had the first availability for an appointment and I was having consistent blurry vision which Dr Behforhouz "snickered" at when I explained my blurry vision was lasting throughout the day. I would NOT recommend Dr Behforouz as his staff, the front desk, is a reflection of him, rude and condescending.
I had cataract surgery with vision corrected for both eyes. My vision is much better than it’s been in years! No need for glasses or readers! I found all staff members very professional and helpful. 20/20 vision is wonderful! I highly recommend!
Thrilled I can see again thanks to Dr. Behforouz and his incredible knowledge! He corrected damage from diabetes and cataracts.
The best eye doctor in Indianapolis, hands down. Being a doctor myself, I have an extremely high standard for how medical care should be delivered. Dr. Behforouz and his team exceed my expectations every time. His staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The office is beautiful and extremely inviting (love the interior design). Dr. Behforouz is extremely well trained from some of the top institutions in the country. He takes his time to perform a thorough exam, explain all of his findings and developing a personalized care plan for you. I have been a very happy patient of his for years, and send all of my friends and family the Center for Sight. Highly Recommended!!!
After extensive testing in Dr. Behforouz’ office I had cataracts removed in Oct 2020. I could not have been more disappointed. It was not explained to me that I would need glasses for reading and a separate pair for distance. I also failed the BMV vision test for the first time ever. I still have glare in both eyes. If I had known what I know now I wold never have had the surgery Office very crowded. Last wait time 45 minutes. It’s like an assembly line operation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
