List of MIchael G. Morkos's Reviews
Excellent doctor who truly cares about his patients! I am 94 years (young) and he treats me like his own family. Extremely pleased with him and his medical staff. Thank you.
The care was efficient, professional and compassionate. I highly recommend this office.
I saw Dr Morkos to investigate RFA (radiofrequency ablation) for my large 5.6cm thyroid nodule. He is the only provider in Indiana offering this newer nonsurgical procedure to shrink nodules without removing the thyroid. He is compassionate, thoroughly explains things, has excellent follow up, and is committed to best quality of life for patients. He does his own ultrasounds and FNAs, very hands on. His staff and nurses are also outstanding, communication was excellent . I had my successful RFA with Dr Morkos and would highly recommend him for treatment and management of thyroid disease.
Unfortunately my experience with Dr. MORKOS did start out pretty well discussing RFA procedure for a thyroid nodule and having a biopsy, but after requesting for insurance coverage, his office has completely stopped communication. We have called numerous times in the last 5 months to find out where the process is, and we have sent IU chart messages that have been opened but not responded to. It is very confusing and suspicious to me, and we are going to seek care elsewhere for my thyroid nodule. We are also looking into talking with other management over Dr. MORKOS as to how to respond to the negligence of patient communication and care.
Dr. Morkos is great! Very thorough and actually listens to concerns. The staff is also very friendly.
Dr. Morkos is awesome. He listens to me and, unlike a lot of other doctors, looks at my file BEFORE the appointment. He really saved my sanity and helped me with my medical condition. His staff is excellent, also. Very friendly and professional.
He rushes through appointments and doesn't listen. If you are a type one patient look elsewhere for an Endocrinologist.
I am a type 1 diabetic who was diagnosed at age 3, I am now 28. I was put on a new pump (tandem ) and new CGM (dexcom) less that 2 months ago. I have had a very hard time dealing with the change and it has taken a mental toll on me for the firs time since having this disease. I saw Dr. Morkos for the first time, he completely changed all of my settings to knock it down to one setting all day no matter what the day, what I ate/ drink or if I'm active. He didn't walk me through the changes he was making, he took my pump from me and did everything himself. My A1C is 6.52 right now and he was trying to fix something that wasnt broken. Secondly, he recommended me loosing weight I'm 5'9 and 240 lbs. He threw me right into fasting, again no explanation given on how to safely do that with diabetes. I took the advice and fasted over the weekend and felt awful. He had absolutely no sympathy for me or my mental health. He saw me as a price tag and spent less than 20 minutes for me being a new patient with him.
Excellent doctor. very easy going. very knowledgeable.
I love Dr. Morkos. He is extremely proficient and professional. He always texts medications and referral appointments that I need during/after my appointment so I don’t forget. I think it’s part of his software. Pretty handy. It is a bit frustrating to try to get an appointment. But that’s just a sign of how popular he is 😝😝😝...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
