Two surgeries later and my eyes are still mismatched. I have to go to another doctor to get everything corrected. I do not recommend him at all.
The first surgery was so horrible I had to go back for a second time to lift my eyelids out of my vision. After the second surgery, it’s actually worse. I have to hold my eyelid up with my finger in order to see. Furthermore I still have the puffy eyelids which are hanging down on both sides. I never should have gone. I would not have, had I read the reviews first. I will be contacting the insurance company and complaining. Like Another person said, he should retire.
I was on time (early) for my appointment, put in a room at my appointment time, and seen for the first time 40 minutes late. I believe I was the first. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, walked out, went to see another patient, came back to me for another couple minutes, then was done. Wants me to have further testing (which will be done at their office but they couldn’t schedule for me when checking out) and another appointment to finalize (so 3 co-pays instead of 1). My name was spelled wrong on my paperwork, but the staff was super annoyed that I pointed this out and insisted it be corrected. The person who put me in the room didn’t even know why I was there (thought I had a bump on my eyelid which is WAAAAAY incorrect) and would’ve been noticed if she’d look at me. Bad first experience all around and would not recommend.
He doesn't explain anything before the surgery. His staff is very rude, especially who did the thread removal after the surgery. My eyelid looks pretty bad even after the surgery 3 years later. I am embarrassing to see people....I am regretting to use him. Yes, it is that bad.
I had a consult with him for blepharoplasty - he seemed not to care and he just seemed tired and didn't explain in detail what he thought should be done. And that Midwest Eye office (Greenwood) was horrible - long wait, very noisy, just overall did not feel confident about him - he is old and needs to retire I think. I also decided this after I saw poor ratings about him.
He doesn't really seem concerned or thorough enough with eye issues I am having. Every time I leave his office, I have more questions than answers. He needs to retire. I am not happy with his level of care due to his lack of compassion and thoroughness.
This man should not be allowed to practice. Went to have a minor eye surgery. He botched it, left the hospital, took hours to get back. Lost enough blood to be transported to st. V. End result.. a permanent notch in my eye lid. Not a chance I would return to this man, and told my primary eye clinic to NOT refer others to him.
Went in to get excess skin sagging above my eyes and causing vision problems fixed and had the surgery but it doesn't look like it! All that for nothing!
Very good Doctor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
