Dr. Nottage bedside manners are not acceptable and her failure to review my medications caused the cancelation of my eye Surgery on November 17th by the anesthesiologist and head RN of surgery. Her office called my referring Doctor and said they will not being able to my surgery and didn't give a reason, so now I am back to square one.

Cannot get a person on the phone. Have been waiting on prescription refill for three days. Have left three messages. Pharmacy says the fax went through, so there's nothing they can do.

Don't come here if you want nice helpful people for eye care. There's a reason this place doesn't have good reviews.

What could they improve? EVERYTHING. 3 hours for every fucking appointment??? Seriously??? Manage your time with doctors better because the waiting rooms are BULLSHIT. There's no need for me to be there from 9-12 and having to be dilated 3 fucking times before I see the doctor. NO EXCUSE. I would also like to add if you're having a minor emergency don't bother calling them because they don't GIVE A FUCK. They refuse to see me now because they called yesterday stating they won't see me unless I pay my past due balance. I cannot afford all these extra appointments, which I probably don't even need because lord knows the doctors these days only care about making money and not making patients better so they keep coming back. I have been coming here for years now, i've had a cataract surgery and a vitrectomy and appointments beyond the number you can imagine. I HAVE BEEN BEYOND PATIENT AND KIND WITH THIS COMPANY. Knowing what I know now, I would have never stepped foot in this SHIT HOLE. Receptionists are doing "Hail Hitler" hand signals in the waiting room and having not so appropriate conversations for everyone in the waiting room to hear. Dr. Nottage is a fucking bitch with no bedside manner WHATSOEVER. DO NOT see her unless you want to be profiled and embarrassed, when in reality she needs to be fucking humbled. She was supposed to do my cataract surgery last year and the consult I had with her, needless to say i've never had such a horrible experience with a doctor IN MY LIFE. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere like I did, no way in hell was she touching me after our consult together. Ended up getting the surgery done with Michael Hopen from IU which was also out of network for my insurance by the way. He was wonderful and amazing but naturally had to pay everything out of pocket for him. Everything was great for a while until this last November when I found out I needed a vitrectomy due to bleeding in the back of my eye. Mind you I am 23, young and nervous having eye problems to begin with so this whole scenario has been very scary for me. I saw Dr. Ankur Shah and he was great initially. He did a great job on my vitrectomy. He really needs to work on his one on one with patients though. Speaks too fast, not enough information and doesn't even ask if you have questions because he's clearly in a rush ALWAYS. He has been making me come to nonstop appointments for "pressure issues" and it's still a concern. Mind you, it took them 4 days to send the new drops over to my pharmacy, and called them nonstop and nobody ever called back or gave a shit. Shah keeps prescribing more and more drops instead of trying to get to the root of the problem, and making me come in so he can make more money off of me, assuming because I am young. I will be going elsewhere from now on because this place is a joke, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING. Please do not waste your time with this shithole. They don't care about making you healthy, they care about being wealthy.

The wait times to see the doctor are terrible. Twice I've waited three hours and once for two hours. IU Health needs to hire more specialists.

All the negative reviews mean nothing to the doctors and staff here. Not only do they keep this place colder than a freezer, here I am once again with no other place to be seen waiting for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Thats the way service is nowadays. Absolutely no respect and no accountability!! Sad!!

The appointments take almost 3 hours every time. The doctor really need to streamline the test and get people in and out better.

Service is terrible. 2.5+ hours every appointment I take my grandparents to. Have no respect for patients time. It's an all day thing which is ridiculous.

It always takes over 2 hours, sometimes 3. I think they intentionally overbook to make sure the doctors have no down time. So be prepared to wait for hours.

I understand that this business is hectic. But the way that some of these representatives speaks to clientele is a little off putting indeed. Private conversations can still be heard in the background during a phone call. It made me feel uncomfortable.
