List of MIdwest Eye Institute's Reviews
The care provided is really good. However, they seriously need to work on their appointment schedule. This is our 4th trip here and each time we've had to wait 90 minutes or more just to see the doctor for 5-10 minutes. If you make an apt - plan to spend at least 2 -3 hours at the center - most of it waiting to see the doctor. If there was another option in the area for this care - I would go there instead. But they are the only place around so we are at their mercy!
I’ve been going to Midwest Eye Institute and seeing Dr. M. Shah for 10+ years. He’s a very thorough and caring doctor. Would highly recommend.
I finally had a vitrectomy to alleviate the floaters in my eyes. After all these years I can see clearly - truly life changing! Dr. Maturi and the staff couldn't have been more caring and professional. Worth every penny!
This place is garbage. If you have an appointment plan on spending your whole day.. literally for a 5 min visit! No joke.
Do not call 317-817-1000 if you need assistance. Staff is very rude and unprofessional and refuses to look up any information to assist. I'm not sure how they're getting away with that! -REGISTERED NURSE OF 20+ YEARS. Your staff answering the phone should be ashamed of themselves. RUDE!
I would recommend this place to anyone, actually I already have! Dr. Milan Shah and all staff are extremely professional and kind. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I cannot express how appreciative I am for Dr. Shah and his staff! Discovering what was wrong with my vision and his treatment plan saved my vision! The news was devestating at first, but Dr. Shah developed a plan and treated my condition amazingly. His knowledge and care improved my vision greatly. I also appreciated his personal phone call to give me an update and advise during my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Shah.
midwest eye Institute in Carmel Indiana.. I wasn't the patient today a friend of mine was. this don't have to do with the doctor, but it is his waiting room. The seating was all cloth and was all stained.!! but every sea I looked at had stains on them. If you're going to have a medical facility have vinyl so you can wash them off I felt like I needed to stand and not set.. cost a lot of money to visit these facilities whether it be my insurance paying the bill or my wallet, they could at least have clean seating in the waiting room just saying
Bad timing over 3hrs each time we are here
We just drove 50 miles for laser treatment on cornea ,we had card where time and date was written on it. Got there for appointment and they knew nothing about it. They said we could reschedule for another day. This is the second time this has happened, 100 miles each trip for nothing. Never go back we are going somewhere else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
