List of MIlan Shah's Reviews
Dr Shah is so rude and disrespectful as a dr. My mother is going through enough issues with her eyes and he did not have to be so rude, he was hateful and disrespectful. Charged her another 500 just to say she has inflammation in her eyes and she has been on medicine for this for over 3 weeks now. There was no reason for him to be so rude. The minute he found out she is self pay no insurance he treated her so bad , it was really sad. I will be filing a complaint with medical board as well.
This Dr worked on a holiday weekend for me to be able to have vision in my eye again.
The only drawback is the amount of time each visit you need to finally be able to see Dr. Shau as it typically ranges from 3-4 hours. He is very good and that is most likely out of his control though.
I wish i did not have to rate a low review. I have uveitis which is an autoimmune condition and if its left untreated I could go blind, the receptionist for Dr. Shah who stated that she was the manager had zero empathy for my condition and kept saying they need a referral, once referral was provided , she mentioned that referral was not accepted! She also mentioned I can not get an appointment until September which is way too late for my condition and I can go blind! It is even more frustrating when you call the main number it says if you have an urgent issue press 1. Horrible initial service and I really hope someone will do something about this.
I would highly recommend Dr. Milan Shah and his staff for saving my eyesight. The day before Christmas Eve I woke up and was blind in one eye. My optician referred me to the Midwest Eye and Retina and to Dr. Shah. After being examined Dr. Shah pulled together a staff on Christmas Eve to conduct my operation to repair a torn retina. Post Op on Christmas Day Dr. Shah had a follow-up meeting with me. Today I have my vision restored thanks to Dr. Shah and his staff. Hopefully I will never need to have another eye surgery, but if I do, Dr. Shah will be the surgeon I trust with my eyes.
Today was my first visit with Dr. Shah. Each staff member was so kind and explained in detail what I was having done. I was treated with so much compassion and like a commodity like in some other offices. I received the most thorough eye exam and consultation that I have ever had - and I have had many from several offices around the state this past 12 months. I highly recommend Dr. Shah and his staff. Thank you!
Brilliant surgeon. Trustworthy, highly skilled and takes pride in his work. Will answer any question. Routine appointments can be delayed but emergencies take priority and that is how it should be. If you have a retina problem and your sight is at risk, he is highly recommended
Yes1 Everyone is very helpful.
I would highly recommend Dr. Milan Shah and his team at Midwest Eye and Retina. On Dec. 23, 2019 I woke up blind in one eye. My eye doctor referred me to Midwest Eye and Retina's Dr. Milan Shah. On Christmas Eve Dr. Shah pulled a team together to operate on my detached retina. On Christmas Day Dr. Shah met with me for a post op checkup. My vision is now restored. If I ever need eye surgery again, it will be with Dr. Shah and his team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
