Dr Knapp is not my first urologist, but in my view he is as good as it gets. I've been seeing him for a few years now. He is very thorough and very responsive to your needs. I recently had GreenLight laser surgery by Dr Knapp that has given me a tremendous amount of improvements. I highly recommend Dr Knapp.

Dr. Knapp performed a surgery for me last winter. It was very well done! His skill was amazing! I stayed in the hospital for a day. He came to check me twice. He was very nice and care for his patients. Two days after the surgery I can urinate normally with little pain. Less than two weeks after the surgery, there is no blood or so at all in my urine. He changed my life last winter completely! Thanks a lot!

Last Thursday did prostrate surgery using the Green Laser. This surgery was easy compared to the several other kinds I've had. Recovery has been great. I would highly recommend Dr. Knapp. Great manner about him and very friendly.

After two appointments I have my opinion to go elsewhere. Waited over an hour to be seen both times. Only the nurse was Interested in my medical records and the doctor could care less. After new imaging and data survey I followed up with him, only to be told it's time for surgery without any explanation. He only gave me information on the purposed device when I asked over and over for it. Doesn't seem like he wants to give the time of day to his patients. Oh well, plenty of specialist within the area that will get my money now.

A senior I care for WAS a patient of his. Every appt we had to wait 30-45 mins after the appt time to be seen. She was scheduled for a surgical procedure on a Fri and they called the Mon before wanting to move it to Tues. She wouldn’t have even been off her meds long enough to be able to have the surgery that soon. They kept the appt for Fri but made it earlier in the day. An hour & a half before her scheduled arrival time they called and cancelled. Coincidence? I think not. Avoid this practice!

I've been with Dr. Knapp for 8+ yrs.; he's wonderful & I would trust him with my life. He's compassionate, kind, incredibly intelligent & the best Urologist I've ever met or heard of. I would highly recommend him to family, friends, etc.; you won't be sorry.

My dad was under his care after a "procedure" from another urologist in the same group. Had nothing but trouble. Knapp simply would not listen. Thought he knew all the answers. Doc was in and out so fast itd make your head spin. Dad developed osteomyelitis (infection in bone) from bacteria from catheters, went undiagnosed for months (Knapp NEVER detected it), lots of pain for months. Very frustrating, maddening. Inept. Dad Now in hospital. Doc totally dropped the ball. You're nothing but cattle there.
