Dr Perni explained in detail what he would be doing during my surgery. He showed me the x-rays with the area and explained how the surgery would take place. He answered all my questions and concerns.

After he did my surgery with 8 screws and two rod and straight my spine I have NO PAIN in my lower back. I’m 79 now and have arthritis in my back. aspirin in the morning and I’m good for the day. I watch my bending and lifting now. Dr Perni did a OUTSTANDING job and i was very pleased with the outcome. I should have done the surgery much sooner because of my results he did for me.

I felt that Perni and his staff did a great job in fixing the condition that was causing so much sciatica pain. When I first met with Dr Perni, he was very professional and to the point. Showed me exactly what was ailing me and what he could do to fix it. Then he turned around and offered me a surgery date five days later. I took it. Otherwise, his next available surgery date was over a month later. Yes, I think Riverview Health and Dr Perni and his team did a great job. I appreciate them.

Dr. Perni is a wonderful Dr. Very good bedside manner. Very proactive in getting me into pain management. Unfortunately, infusions didn’t do the trick. He got me into surgery quickly. I’m 6 weeks out from surgery, and have my life back. My surgery was great, no problems. Highly recommend him and his staff!

I needed spine surgery for several months before I actually decided to do it. Dr. Perni was recommended to me by a friend who had back surgery. I met with him and was very impressed; he was professional, friendly and positive. My surgery is over and I am improving weekly. I would highly recommend Dr. Perni. His staff is very friendly, which is nice in this day and age!

Dr. Perni gave me my life back. From the first consultation, to the MRI, to the diagnosis, to the explanation of needed treatment, to the surgery, Dr. Perni was always professional, caring, sensitive, attentive and proactive in providing what was needed for my complete recovery. I can say the same for his physician's assistant and support staff. One year out from my surgery, if I follow some light shifts in how I bend and lift, I am pain free. I walk 2-3 miles 5 days a week and living a full life. Thank you, Dr. Perni.

Dr Perni, Christina and the rest of his staff were fabulous. After 40+ years of lower back issues and pain I got to a point that I needed to have something surgically done. Dr Perni explained what was going on with my spine and recommended what I needed to have done to correct it. I had lower lumbar discectomy surgery at the end of March and have eliminated 90-95% of the pain. Surgery, recovery and follow-up have all gone great and am thankful for his skill and professionalism to assist me with this issue.

Had a arthritic cyst removed from my spine. Surgery went extremely well and the follow up services were great. Staff is very personable, friendly, and professional. Provided options for remedy with all possible outcomes allowing me to make the decision on what procedure to pursue.
