Sameena J. Rao's Online Review Report Card

When I was first assigned to Dr rao I almost cancelled when my daughter and I were reading her reviews however, I was desperate to see someone and my insurance ensured me if I was not happy with her I could change drs. I am SO glad I kept my 1st appointment with her she exceeded my expectations. She really listened and gave me great options I've seen her several times now. I've had bad experiences with urologists in the past who dont really listen or truly put in time to help find a solution but that's not the case with her! I've recommended her to several people.

Dr. Rao is cold, uncaring, and inattentive spent less than 10 min with me at each visit. She threw some sample medincine at me which made my other medical conditions much worse. Id rather see a male urologist than listen to her dismiss me one more time. She loves to push off probelms to other specialits including those shes supposed to be trained for like OBGYN and gastero. It says clearly one thier website they are trained in treating bowel leakage and pelvic floor problems. Im making the drive and seeing someone who cares.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I truly feel they almost killed me and I will be finding out how to report to the board!!!!!!

Im not sure why reviews keep being taken down, but Sameena Rao should not be in practice. This is the 3rd review that Im sure will be cancelled. Run away from this junior doctor. Id encourage anyone who has had an ill experience with this junior md to file an Indiana Consumer complaint under he attorney generals office. This review will be taken down, but I know someone at Urology of Indiana is seeing it.

Just my first visit with Dr. Rao: I had very little wait time. Dr. Rao did an exam and offered medication and set into motion procedures to further check the condition of my bladder. She did listen to me and was quick and courteous.

AGREE WITH PREVIOUS COMMENTS - RUN FAST FROM THIS DR TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. DOES NOT WANT TO FIX PROBLEM ONLY GIVE U ANOTHER PILL THAT DOES NOT WORK.

Excellent surgeon.

Very inconsiderate ignored past history of issues and tried doing an examination completely unrelated to the issue presented. Lied about what certain symptoms meant, and suggested us to see a different specialist that specializes in the same field. She should not be a doctor by any means, let alone be in the medical field. She is blatantly rude and only there to waste your time after waiting a month to get in.

She is a horrible doctor. My sister was in the ER and she was on call and refused to come over to the hospital.

Dr. Rao was disrespectful, dismissive, and uncaring. My health issue had worsened drastically overnight and my pcp suggested I see a specialist because I could no longer work because of the condition. It was a waste of money. And I cannot explain how I felt when I left her office. But thankfully my new urologist actually cares.
