I had a surgical procedure done by Dr. Turkle. My experience at this surgery center was outstanding! The Anesthesiologist spent time with me prior to and took every precaution to keep me comfortable. His bedside manner was stellar! My nurse Heather, was calming, kind, concerned, personable and took excellent care of me from start to finish..(including making me an iced coffee, when asked if I wanted anything). Thank you to all who assisted and cared for me on this journey!

My 2 year old had ear tubes placed here. Everything ran on time and they were extra caring and patient with our little one. Our recovery team was excellent also. They answered all of our questions and gave us good info about what to expect before and after the procedure. Thank you care team at Surgery Center of Carmel for going above and beyond! We appreciate all you do!

never had a surgery, not even a stich..the entire staff from the moment I walked in made the entire experience unbelievably stress free and totally comfortable...Dr. Szotek was awsome...

I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my initial nurse Grace was amazing and kind. The nurse I had when I woke up, Toni was hateful to me and and demanding to my husband. I was the only patient there overnight and every request was slow to accommodate. I asked for food and drink and she said she would get it when she was done eating her own dinner😂🤦🏼‍♀️ I called my husband at home because I was receiving poor patient care and she came in and screamed at me to get off of my phone! That it was elevating my blood pressure. I told her “it went up an hour ago but you wouldn’t know because you weren’t paying attention!” Then I asked for a different nurse and she said she was the only one. I told her I wanted someone else because I felt she was being rude. She said “I’m being rude because you never say thank you!!” (I’ve been in customer service my entire life and I always say pleas thank you and your welcome. Either way how is that a thing?!) At that point I wanted me husband to get me. I was scared and upset. We tried to call my doctor. She was apologetic but she doesn’t employ these people. Because my children are young my husband wasn’t able to come and I decided to power through. I had the nurse show me everything she gave me. And after the dr called Toni was as sweet as pie(surprise!) The next morning when I was wheeled out to my husband, the young man said “Toni is abrasive…”. Ya think?! I can’t believe I spent a night there and my family’s hard earned money.

Friendly, helpful staff, may need more information for person with patient. Keeping them up to date on status of procedure started and completed. Instead of them waiting till procedure is completed and Dr. informs person with patient. Just small amount of information is helpful.

Highly do not recommend. I was told my son could eat 8 hours before surgery a week prior while going over medical history. I was called 5 days before his surgery to “reschedule” for earlier (1/2 hour earlier) so they could leave at the end of their work day on time and was told he couldn’t eat after midnight. I was told it was a safety issue. I’m glad I was told something different only 2 days prior if it was that large of a safety issue. I would have had no idea if they hadn’t called to reschedule again, and would have taken off work for no reason because they wouldn’t have done it. They also had told me his surgery was at 2:00 and then told me it was scheduled for 3:30. I cancelled the surgery and do not recommend!!!!
