Over the years I continue to schedule with this Doctor because historically her knowledge has been effective and reliable. Her execution is both efficient and solution-oriented. My experience is that she has been trustworthy and is an advocate for the health and well being of her patients. Ease of discussion, positive and jovial describe interactions with her.

No stars for this doctor. It was a total waste of my time to make an appointment with Susan Helsel. The staff have a personality of a box of rocks! I made an appointment for a pre op physical for an upcoming surgery. The person making the appointment said she would do the physical and that is why I agreed to see the doctor. No...Dr. Helsel doesn't want to be bothered to fill out papers. Take your health care seriously and find a doctor that truly cares about a patient!

Worst medical office ever! There has to be a better facility than Dr. Helsel's office. The staff have the personalities of rocks. The whole office needs an intervention with a bariatric doctor - they show you what unhealthy looks like! I scheduled an appointment for a pre op visit only to be told when I arrived that she doesn't do physicals. This office had more things that the doctor didn't do listed than what she did do. Don't waste your time with with this provider. And don't trust your medical care to this office!

Dr. Helsel is phenomenal all the way around. She has superb bedside manner and makes her patients feel heard, cared about, and I completely trust her with my care. I have referred over 4 people to her that are now her patients. Dr. Helsel is the type of doctor that I would HAVE to follow if she ever left the community network.

Dr. Helsel has been my doctor for some time now and I think I have only seen her one time. I know there are other doctors to see patients but it would be nice to see her more than every once in a while.
