List of Thomas Reilly's Reviews
Finding the right surgeon was the most difficult aspect of finally undergoing the critical 3 level cervical spine surgery that I desperately needed. I consulted with 3 different spine surgeons in 2 different states before choosing Dr. Thomas Reilly because he was the only doctor who sought the optimal solution for my 3 bad discs ... not all fusions and not all artificial discs - but a "hybrid" surgery that utilized both technologies to give me the best possible chance of a full recovery. Just saw Rr. Reilly for my one-year checkup and all is good. Doctor Reilly is really top notch and a true leader in his field. I am so happy that he agreed to take my case & help me fight the insurance company that denied the optimal hybrid surgery several times before we finally got it approved. Five-Star Doc here for sure ... no doubt about it!!!
Waiting over 2 1/2 hours beyond the appointment time is ridiculous. Appreciate that he spends time with patients, this being said he needs to look at time management.
I went to Dr. Reilly after I got health Insurance that had him in the network and my family doctor recommended him. He order an injection. I went in with a pain rated at 8 out 10 and came out with 0 pain. Unfortunately it only lasted 4 days. I go back to see what the next step is. Hopefully it will be a fix. Dr. Reilly takes time to explain your options and answer any question you may have. I highly recommend him.
I saw this Dr. Wednesday Jan. 30. I have bone spurs, arthritis, and bulging disk at C6, and he recommends an injection scheduled for Feb. 7. The dr office called to reschedule because he has not done dictation of my visit, and they need it to get insurance approved. She said we asked 2 times and no results. The next say at end of day I called to see if I get my injection tomorrow...no sir, we asked him to dictate but after a week still nothing. Don’t start a job if your to busy to finish it.
Waiting over a month for a surgery date is a bit ridiculous.
Dr Reilly and the staff are excellent I’ve had to back surgery’s and feel better then I have for three years
In my nearly 70 years, I have not been treated by a more kind and professional doctor and staff! I highly recommend anyone needing help with any problem with the spine, seek help from Dr. Riley and his doctors assistant Liz.Their knowledge is unlimited when it concerns medical problems with the spine.
Had an injury to my back and count not walk, for almost a week. Went to the emergency room and they called Dr. Reilly in after they looked at my MRI. He found an abscess on my spine the size of his fist!! After surgery and after I had healed mostly all up, I was pain free!! He did a wonderful job, I am so thankful they called in Dr. Reilly.
He is the worst doc have ever seen. He screwed up my back surgery and I still live in pain everyday.
Had a spinal fusion several years ago. The surgery took over 7 hours and wasn't informed until 6 months after that I had a blood transfusion. A couple of weeks after surgery I was in so much pain and he really didn't care. Was sent to the hospital for meds and to do a repeat MRI was out the next day and he said that the MRI looked normal. It wasn't normal. The screws he used for my surgery were too long and created permanent nerve damage. So I am still in pain every single day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
