List of Centerstone's Reviews
I called because my insurance company provided their information as a potential for successful therapy. These people were extremely rude, the operator could care less about getting you to a human. I had to call back twice and both times she was very rude as if helping to transfer me was not in her job description. Then I finally got another girl who was even worse. Sounded much younger and unwilling to be helpful. She informed me that I would have to come in to do an intake in person. No other health organization has required this of me to come in person for an initial intake due to Covid. She very directly told me to give her the nearest location of their organization to my address. I started searching and said that I wasn't sure, and asked her,"Wouldn't you have a listing of all of your company's locations in front of you, I don't know where any of your locations are, I just have a phone number."She was unreal with how she spoke with me, and I told her that I felt Centerstone is not the empathetic and helpful place that I was initially anticipating. I then explained I guess I would have to look somewhere else if she is not willing to help me. Her entire tone then changed to a very happy, and upbeat attitude explaining how that's "Perfectly fine with her!" She was a representative of Centerstone, and she literally was glad and happy that she would not have to help me.I then look on this review page, and I see continual default (system-automated responses) depicting in a false manner that they care and take this kind of feedback seriously. I hate it when organizations put up a false facade making themselves out to be something they're not. This company is anything but empathetic and helpful. Why organizations like this who specifically are meant to treat mental health would act this way toward their prospective clients and think that it's going to accomplish anything is completely beyond me. Anyone who finds this review, trust me, the single star reviews below mine are entirely accurate! Centerstone is not a good company. Watch them respond and say the exact same thing to me, providing a phone number that always goes to voicemail.
I’m been trying to get therapy from this place for the past year. Nothing. The set up a school therapist but all they did was nag me. They weren’t helping me with my problems.
Called the crisis line last night... but half of me is scared to tell them anything because they seem to be more interested in calling emergency services AT THAT SECOND... So i hung up the first couple times... no one called back... so i went to the bathroom and they left a message not to call back.. Real professional !!
Place is becoming a joke. The new receptionists in suite 200 sit in back and giggle and gossip. I have complained about either not getting appointment reminders or the times are wrong but was informed need to call north Vernon for one therapist. Place has went down hill.
I worked for this company for six years and was harassed and discriminated against by my supervisor. When I complained to HR, nothing was done and my supervisor then had me terminated. I should have listened to all of the people who warned me not to work for this company. As a previous employee, I can now feel free to let people know that Centerstone (the Columbus location) does not care about it's clients. For them, it is all about squeezing as many billable hours out of people as possible. I won't give out names or any specific information here, but anyone considering going to this organization for employment or for mental health services, please think seriously about it before you do. With Centerstone, it's all about the money they can squeeze from their clients.
I told was told by my cardiologist I may have only 6 months to live called my therapist told my therapist's staff that I really need to make sure he made my appointment because I was having trouble processing and said information therapist blew off appointment resume appointment never signed on and then I got cussed out by staff by undue pressure so I'm by myself doing how to deal with the fact that I may only have 6 months to live centerstone is heartless
I have been waiting for an appointment for 2 weeks finally I had an appointment today on May 18th at 4:00 p.m. with somebody to discuss my substance abuse evaluation and mental health evaluation and they did a no call no show . How can you help me with this need a manager please... I guess it wouldn't be so bad if every time that I call to ask questions about how we are going to do the appointment somebody at the front desk just transfers me to an answering machine I leave messages and nobody calls me back that is not very professional
So far, not a good experience. I have a child that has been going through some of the roughest times he has ever gone through, and I'm trying to help all I can. Its been almost 2 months since our intake appointment, and I haven't heard ANYTHING back. I call constantly. They always tell me, "oh, we will call you back." And they take down my number. Yet, NOTHING is all I hear. You'd think they could at least call me back and tell me to get lost 🙄Its gotten so bad that the other day he told me even therapy thinks he's too broken to fix, because they won't even call back. They failed me as a child, now they are failing my child.
Therapists they have are inexperienced, and the psychiatrists have an attitude problem that keeps them from being able to help people. I jumped through hoops for months to be able to get meds and help only to get turned away by psych. now I know why mental health is such a problem in this area, thee is no one competent enough to help. At least now I have no more false hopes. The only person there who cares enough to try to help is Ashley.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
