Thomas Jackson's Online Review Report Card

I had Dr Jackson as a plastic surgeon and absolutely loved him. His bedside manners are great and he gives you all the office times you need to answer all your questions. He was recommended to me from a 5* Indianapolis physician that is one of the top Indy surgeons. Would never go to anyone other than Dr Jackson.

I was just hung up on by the office manager ANGIE at Dr. Thomas Jackson's office in Columbus Indiana! Angie was calling my 17 year old daughter, while she's IN school, multiple times and I called to ask why. Angie said she wanted to call and get a date scheduled for my daughter to have a breast reduction! ?? Uumm, my daughter has a keloid on her ear! I asked why would they be calling a 17 year old to schedule a surgery, Angie SCREAMED that's the number she was given to call. I stated that is not true, I left MY phone number to contact. I informed Angie that I would have to call back later, I didn't know if I wanted to return there... before I could finish that sentence...ANGIE SCREAMED... "GOOD!" and hung up on me. ?? So I called back and asked to speak with the office manager...it was her..ANGIE is the office manager! Well, Angie decided to SCREAM at me, our whole conversation, interrupting me and when I asked to speak to Dr. Thomas Jackson, she hung up again! AGAIN!! ??Friends, I have zero respect for someone who treats people like Angie treated me. I can not believe Dr. Thomas Jackson, in Columbus Indiana, would want his office staff, especially his OFFICE MANAGER, to speak to his patients like that! I lost all respect I had for this practice, over this very UNPROFESSIONAL, extremely RUDE office manager, who made a mistake, but decided it was a good idea to take it out on me! Dr. Jackson you really should make some staff changes, obviously ANGIE shouldn't be talking with patients, especially those who choose his practice for services, which ultimately helps pay their salaries! Needless to say, my daughter nor I will be returning to Dr. Thomas Jackson medical practice in Columbus Indiana! I also receyan email from Angie, wanting to schedule a surgery date for my son Hunter. They had this wrong on the appointment day, which they said they would correct. Very unprofessional behavior. Screaming and hanging up on patients!

During the last year of care for my wife Dr Jackson was supportive sensitive and provided exceptional care. His choices and direction provide exceptional outcome for my wife.

Went for a breast augmentation revision to exchange 10+yr old saline implants, due to rippling and volume loss, to silicone implants. Right after the revision surgery I knew something was wrong. They didn't look or feel right and have been causing health problems ever since. I've been back to see him several times with concerns and each time he tried to convince me that everything was fine. He tried to make it seem like it was my fault, blaming it on my anatomy and claiming it was just anxiety. It's my body and something isn't right so of course I'm going to have anxiety as a result but anxiety isn't the cause. He refused to do anything about it, which is fine with me because I don't want him touching me ever again. I have since had consults with 2 other plastic surgeons and both have confirmed my suspicions that he messed up. I'm scheduled for another revision surgery to correct the issues and get my health and life back. There's no way I would recommend Jackson for anything.

Went for a revision to switch from 13yr old saline implants to silicone due to loss of volume and slight rippling. I chose Jackson because he was local and cheaper compared to other places. I didn't think a revision would be a complicated procedure, it's pretty much just a swap. I guess I was wrong Since my revision with Dr Jackson I've had nothing but problems, including health issues, not just appearance. I've been back 4 times to address the issues and each time he brushed me off saying nothing is wrong and tried to put the blame on me, everything from my anatomy to anxiety. He refused to take responsibility for messing up and fixing his mistakes, claiming that I don't need another surgery due to it being expensive on my part. The expense of another surgery is nothing compared to what I've been going through. I told him I was going elsewhere for some second opinions and he got upset, told me "well you do that then" and left the exam room. I've had one second opinion so far and it was confirmed that he did indeed mess up. I'm scheduled for another second opinion and want as many as I can because I'm terrified of going through this again and want to pick the best surgeon for my next revision. Bottom line, research your Drs thoroughly. I would not recommend Jackson for anything though.

Dr. Jackson did an upper eye lift and breast reduction for me 9 months ago. I am very pleased with the results. His office staff was excellent as well as the staff at the surgery center. I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson.

I had met with Dr. Jackson because I am wanting to get a surgery done, he was very positive, thankfully he talked to my insurance to cover for my surgery, I'll be having the precidure done in June. I'm very happy with the doctor and his Staff. I had my surgery done on the 20th and here I am on the 22nd, I'm doing great, I'm up and about, getting some rest and I feel great today. I'm so happy with my results of the surgery.

Very disappointed with outcome of surgery...does not look normal...had multiple surgeries and the last surgery WRONG SIZE implant was put in....find another doctor.

I have been an ongoing patient of Dr.Jackson since 2006. I have even entrusted him with my 9 year old daughters ears reconstruction. I give him all the credit I can!!! He has been an absolute awesome plastic surgeon. I would only go to him for all my plastics needs! Also he has the nicest office staff anyone could want!! Highly recommend him!!!
