The doctor was fine however the nurse/technician that applied wrapping and booting to the injured limb was a bit standoffish and never smiled or made us feel welcome. The worst part though was the doc ordered an MRI and they could not do it for 13 days out. I could not get a follow up until after the MRI was completed and a few days past so the doc could get the results in order to treat the injury properly. Fortunately I had the forethought to ask for the written MRI script. Upon leaving I called Community and they scheduled the MRI for 2 days later. Poor service by Lakeshore for an MRI so if you need that test just skip them and call Community, Franciscan or another provider that takes your insurance. I know if I ran this clinic specializing in bones & joints and did in house MRI’s for big money, I would stay open longer, Sat and Sun and even consider a second shift to diagnose my obvious backlog of patients. They are missing out on hundreds of thousands annually and delaying patient care.

Dr. Ruter is very well spoken, knowledgeable, and thorough . Felt comfortable addressing my concerns , he listened, and explained in detail his expectations of any procedure that may have to be done . Highly recommend him

I could not be more happy with this surgeon! I was very nervous about surgery and what to expect after, but he immediately put me at ease and reassured me he was going to do the best possible job, and he definitely did! Him and his team took such great care of me and I am so grateful for them!
