Emily Garritson's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Garritson’s for about 5 yrs. She has always taken great care of me! She never “bullies” me into doing treatments that I don’t feel comfortable doing, like other Dr’s. have done that I have seen in the past. She respects her patients feelings and opinions, while still explaining each and every step of treatment for issues. Staff is friendly, and professional. Top notch care! Thank You!

very popular My mom and my aunt have both been seeing her for years. They are both giving glowing reviews. I plan to make an appointment soon.

Tops! Dr. Garritson is the best of the best! If it weren't for her, I wouldn't even be here!

Scheduling is Terrible Originally made an appointment for my daughter in December for March and then 48 hours before her appointment was canceled and rescheduled for May. Then today, was called and had to reschedule due to "changing her schedule" and is now pushed back to July. 7 month wait to see her? Her PCP recommended her but so far not impressed as whoever does her scheduling needs to do a better job. Which sucks as that means when we "finally" see her I'll be eyeing her like a hawk to see if she was even worth the time.

MY MOTHER IS DEAD BECAUSE OF EMILY GARRITSON. Imagine being a mother with 4 children in their 20s and 30s and struggling for your life for years BECAUSE OF SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE A DOCTOR. I highly suggest you go to Dr. Applegarth. We actually went as a family to him for years until Desai started referring patients to Dr. Marchand Jr. and Sr. My mother would most likely still be alive if all of this medical referring hustle did not happen. UNFORTUNATELY THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS RAN OUT TO SUE HER BECAUSE MY MOTHER WAS TRYING TO PLAY NICE IN THE VALPARAISO, INDIANA MEDICAL WORLD. She had her entire heel cut out with a skin graft from thigh to knee during Thanksgiving and was just going to remain silent during her months of recovery UNTIL HER UNDIAGNOSED MELANOMA CAME BACK!!!! Then she went through years of absolute hell with surgeries, going into toxicity, hospital stays, pulmonary emboli, blood transfusions, etc…UNTIL SHE DIED. EMILY cheated me of having my mother ever see me get married. EMILY cheated my mother of meeting her grandchild OF MY SISTER THAT WAS HER CLASSMATE. And Desi…..a cold hearted hustler that could care less that he hired an incompetent individual THAT COULD NOT DIAGNOSE SKIN CANCER IN HIS SKIN CANCER CLINIC. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!! If you have any questions or need to talk please message me. The best advice I can give you if you want to live is DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO HERE. EVER!!!! You or your loved one could end up dead like my mother. Keep in mind she was a wife and mother of doctors in the community. Who are you????

This was only my first visit but I was extremely impressed with Dr. Garritson. She was performed a thorough exam and was very attentive to my concerns. Dr. Garritson explained my condition clearly, ensure I understood my options, and helped me to decide the best treatment plan. I've been to other dermatologists in the area and this is the first time I feel like the doctor actually listened to my concerns and looked at my health holistically.
