List of Bethany Mcdaniel-Vanderzwaag's Reviews
Dr VanderZwaag was great with our daughter, she asked questions and listened to her.
I give Dr. Bethany McDaniel-VanderZwaag 5 Stars. She is one of the best Doctors in town. Sad to see her move to a different location.
Absolutely wonderful. Listened to me and I felt she genuinely cared and wanted to help me feel better and be healthy. Great listening and communication. Easy to talk to and trust. Only complaint is she left where I was seeing her and I can't figure out where she is so I can move too. New staff and nurse practioner are awful.
My Fiancee was just in to see her and the "doctor" was extremely condescending and fat shamed her the entire time, once my fiancee started asking questions, the "doctor" immediately got an attitude about being questioned. In her first sentence the "doctor" not only fat shamed my fiancee but also criticized her now late colleague my fiancees former doctor for not doing her job and when my fiancee asked why she was being this way the doctor yelled at her and walked out. Do not go to this doctor if you arent a trophy wife or you will be shamed to point of being suicidal.
She was absolutely terrible.
Horrible!! She doesn't listen and the meds she prescribes dont work. It's a pain to get refills from her.
She is detailed and thorough in her evaluations, and very honest. She truly does care for her patients intimately. I would recommend her to anyone. Male or female.
Great general practitioner
Went to her for about 5 months went through a few different SRI's they were horrible gave me nightmares, night terrors, involuntary muscle spasms, insomnia. When the Selexa made me sick and feel all these horrible symptoms she would just up my dosage and it would almost seem she wasn't really paying attention to me she already had her selexa and other SRI's locked and loaded for me. I just hope I can get to someone and let them know yes SRI's calmed me down because they made me numb not care about anything not to mention other horrible side effects. They will tell you give it a few weeks well I could get used to a lot of things if I ride it out a few weeks, you could tell anyone that someone who just was divorced hey give it a couple weeks you will feel better. I get it has to get in your system but what about people who had no problem before they had a yearlong battle with bone cancer and skull surgery head radiation. What if I just need a vallum because you have no idea what it is like to have a disfigured head from when they opened your skull and pulled your eye out of your head multiple times. She is just as guilty as any other doctor to afraid to prescribe something that will help because it could potentially be abused well I would rather take vallum or ambien and get dependent on it than be at home throwing myself against the wall for surviving my battle only as 1/4 of the the man I was. I truly believe she has no confidence to make her own decisions she hears depressed or anxiety and goes to her script of what she thinks others want her to try it is politics and money so sad. Our last session I started to explain how horrible I felt on the medicine and she actually interrupted me which leads me to believe yes she does not actually pay attention.
I had a wonderful experience here. It was my first visit and now I want to bring my whole family... she actually LISTENED and explained herself. Also, the girls in the office were chipper and helpful. Maybe I've just had bad experiences with doctors offices in the past, but this was a 10 out of 10 compared to anyone else I've been to.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
