Dr Benevente is fantastic. He and Dr Rudin did an emergency surgery on my colon in August 2021. Over the next several weeks he helped me get through recovery. He went above and beyond taking my calls and working with me. I'm glad he was my surgeon!!!

If you want to die he is the man for you.. My family Dr sent me to the ER and Benavente was on call.. He told me that he doesn't do surgery on a holiday, it was not done on a Holiday's. It was valentine's day.. So he gave me pain meds and sent me home.. Three days later, I end up back in the ER. Again he is on staff. He rushes me through surgery, I barely remember him telling me that he took out my gallbladder, it should have been removed a few yrs ago, he think's he caused a tear, and sends me home. Two days later I am back in the hospital with a temperature of 103.9, that tear he thought he caused was killing me.. so three more surgeries later he fixes it. Now I am scared for life.. fast forward 18 months, I have a hernia that was caused by the 3 surgeries that he had to preform to correct the tear. I had a twisted colon on the wrong side of my body yrs later. When they told me who was going to perform the surgery to correct it as it was life or death, I signed out AMA.. I Literally felt he would have killed me had he touched me.I just found out that thanks to his horrible work I have another hernia that runs along the scar that he caused PLEASE stay away from this man.

Dr Benavente took time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. The staff and anesthesiologist were kind and helpful. I feel great now! I am so thankful I was recommended to this Doctor.

Had gall bladder surgery with Dr. Benavente Chenhalls. Got in quickly. He was very pleasant to work with. Office staff was top notch. Definitely would see him in the future if I had a need.

An amazing doctor who really cares about his patients. I’m so happy i looked him up for my gallbladder surgery and was able to schedule with him. He answered any questions i had and his staff was just great. I’m a very anxious person and they made everything simple and made me feel at ease. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family.

We were promptly greeted by staff and seen in the office in a timely manner. Once in the office Dr.Benavente was courteous and kind. Highly recommend.
