List of Thomas Vidic Md's Reviews
I did not see Dr. Vidic, but my brother did who suffered a stroke in early 2020. My brother, who has been driving since 3 months after his stroke, and was cleared to do so by an occupational therapist, only saw Dr Vidic one time and he sent in a letter to the state, requesting they revoke his license. We have played hell, trying to get his license re-instated, and in a call to a very rude nurse at Dr. Vidic's office, their only response was that my brother was no longer a patient at their office. It is great to know they abandon their patients rather than help them recover. Dr Ridic's license should be revoked for lack of compassion. I think the Elkhart Hospital should seriously consider distancing themselves from Dr Ridic. I wished there was a lower rating than 1 I could give him.
He preferred talking to the ??? that was with him whom he mumbled to me when introducing. He did not talk to me directly. I do not know what diagnosis he is looking for. I have had 3 tests with no contact of results.
As I read the reviews I am laughing because this doctor has changed my life with my migraines. I used to suffer migraines until he started treating me for them. And his staff has always been more than pleasant. For the ones who reviewed one star must have just had a bad experience
My son was his patient for many years during his teens. This doctor did not follow up nor keep an eye on meds at all. He would get saturated with the drug and have problems and the doctor never suggested new drugs nor even change the drugs even during his growth spurts when he had so many issues. my son left for a dr at the Univ of Chicago who immediately changed his meds. Even now my son has a doctor closer to home and He is fine after many years away from dr. Vidic. He is now a grandfather and his disease is managed. He will never be free of the disease but he is managed.
He is polite, takes an interest in your case, and offers solutions. He is well educated and knows a lot about my particular problem.
I was referred to Dr Vidic for an EMG test to assess weakness in my left leg. He explained the testing process at the onset, what and why he was doing through the exam, and then determined the cause of my weakness -a pinched nerve in my lower back. He offered some potential directions my care could take but the results were to be sent my primary doctor for further decisions on treatment direction. I also appreciated his nurse Glenda’s attention and care during the testing.
2 hours later, we couldn't wait any longer with our child with Dandy Walker. He is non verbal. We didn't get the chance to meet Thomas. We walked out of room after the 2 hour wait. From the time of check in at the counter. such hateful people to be in customer service, that help delay, the girl in front of us was complaining about the scheduled time she had at 1025 and they were trying to refuse service to her after she called in to be late that it was ok still for her. Poor communication, the professional atmosphere wasn't at this location. We didn't see any compassion for the patients from the staff. Actually We left due to the poor medical experience at this location. From the sign in down stairs. After being told we were late from the delay upstairs check in, The upstairs receptionist called down to state we were late for appointment . Well we were in line at desk at 1020 am awaiting the argument in front of us. appointment time 1030 am. The The down stairs receptionist stated that Dr Vidic was 1 hour from seeing us, because of this we will work you in even though normally doctor won't see you because you were late. Then they took us to exam room. And waited. and waited. so we trusted our gut this wasn't a good place for our son or our family. We did finally leave at 1235 pm to find out he wasn't around that it would still be a Bit. Elkhart don't put up with this kind of care. Other great Doctors will give you much better care with better staff that will live up to their level of medical care that is deserved. I hope to see them take this and build with it and train how to improve. If it happens to my son, it is happening all the time. .. He and his staff can't handle the load to give the service that the patents deserve. If your time is important I would suggest finding another place. Many in town that will accept your insurance. No one should have to deal with such crappy medical care That his staffed provided. We won't .
Had an AFib and Dr Vidic was wonderful. I was scared and he reassured me each day I was in the hospital. His staff were also very involved. I was able to go home wearing a LifeVest and my follow up visit in his office was better than expected. He is to the point about the reality of your situation. He does not send mixed signals. Together we came up w a game plan and it’s working. At quest diagnostics getting my blood work as I write this review. All test ordered by him. Could not be in better hands.
I paid on full. Called in March and canceled a May appointment. Now at the end of July they wand to charge me me for a no show on the Canceled May appointment.
I have never seen a doctor that could care less about his patients. He finds an abnormality in my mothers brain and does nothing about it except prescribe her pills which have done nothing, but make her worse. All he wants is the payment from medicaid. He cant even tell her what the abnormality is. Nor has he even ran any tests to tell her what it is. You have an abnormality in your brain, so take these pills that'll help. That is literally all he has done for her. This man should not have a license to practice medicine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
