He is a great doctor. I am getting ready to get another surgery. He is very nice and professional.

This Dr Patel person should not even be allowed to use a steak knife let alone a scalpel. He totally destroyed my entire abdominal core and took away my entire quality of life due to not one but 2 totally botched surgeries to repair a simple hernia Because of his lack of knowledge and skill whereby a simple laparoscopic procedure turned into a 14 inch long open cut from my navel to my crotch was done even after i explicitly told him not to do any such thing beforehand. Then he went and tried to staple dead skin only to close me up which caused my whole stomach to burst open one week later and all of that's not even the half of it.

I went to Patel for a consultation for a surgical procedure. I stood while he spent 30 seconds determining that I needed surgery. He explained nothing. He just walked over to his computer and asked what location I wanted the surgery. He was very unfeeling and I would never go to him or recommend him for anything. I still haven't had the surgery that he was so eager to do and probably won't ever have it because it is unnecessary.

Dr. Patel is an outstanding surgeon. Although I had never met him before having to have an emergency surgery, he explained in great detail the procedure, along with the risks and possible complications. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, answered all my questions and never seemed to be in a rush. I appreciated his professionalism and the fact that he always smiled and shook my hand. His bedside manner could be described as caring and compassionate. With a sense of humor, he exudes confidence, but is definitely not arrogant. I was very impressed with him and would recommend him highly.
