He did not seem to have read my files prior to my visit. He did not answer my questions. He barely seemed to understand why I was there. I was in and out very quickly and feel more uncertain of my medical future than before the visit.

Dr. Silvera did not rush through the examination. He was patient and respectful as I asked questions. Before the cataract surgery he came in and talked with me. The entire experience was excellent and I couldn’t have been more pleased with him and his staff.

Please speak to me, your patient, not your scribe. It’s important for ME to understand my condition & my treatment. Follow up with me, you are the specialist I was referred to you. My doctor trusted you with my care. Take time to properly diagnose my condition so it can be treated appropriately. When I return with a reoccurrence, take notice that the drops you had previously prescribed are outdated before telling me to resume. My vision is important to me, my eyes? Your responsibility! I was worth your time! The cornea specialist in Indianapolis may thank you but my family does not. I spent the holidays getting treatment away from home by doctors that took time away from their families... because my eyes, my vision is worth it. I’m worth it!
