I had hiatal hernia surgery,Dr.throop explained everything very well.I had bad reflux for several years,it has been 6 mo.,with no reflux! would highly recommend him.

Dr. Throop saved my life 17 years ago, after another surgeon stapled my intestines into my incision leading to Peritonitis and Sepsis. I was very close to death and on life support when I was life-flighted to Deaconness hospital and had the great luck to be put in his hands. My intestines were shredded and my entire body was poisoned and he saved my life. Because of him, I was able to raise my children.

I had hernia surgery performed by Dr. Throop in December of 2017. He did an excellent job. I made a quick recovery with no complications. He could have spent a bit more time explaining the procedure, however his explanation was adequate and he was very professional. He came highly recommended.

Wonderful Doctor! Could not have asked for a better Doctor. Caring and explains all you need to know upfront before surgery. Would recommend to anyone searching for a bariatric surgeon. Would do it again!
