Very patient in explanation of the surgery and answering all my questions. Filled me in on post op expectations and timeliness. Staff came in and introduced themselves and explained their role and answered any questions - nice touch. And they did the same after to make sure we had everything down clearly.

Just had surgery on my arm today. Dr F came in before surgery, sat down, explained (in detail) everything that needed to be done before & after. He answered all my questions, took his time & was not rushing to get out. Made me feel very comfortable! After surgery he found my mom in the waiting room to let her know how the surgery went... which was great.

Terrible experience at this orthopedic office waited over an hour and a half past our appointment time and Dr. Ferhenbacher came in and was so impersonal and didn’t seem to care about our baby boy and our situation the least bit. I would highly advise going to someone else if possible. We will not be back to him.

My aunt had a sledding accident and broke both of her legs on February 4th 2022 she was unfortunately taken to Deaconess Midtown hospital. She had some good nurses that we are extremely grateful for! Some of the nurses were completely horrible to her jerked around left on her bedpan for hours; put her on a dirty bed pan; would withhold her meds from her; would make exceptions for other guests about visitors but not for her!! After she complained and then tried to tell her doctor, he brushed It off as if it was nothing! She was being abused and mistreated by some of the nurses there and he acted like it was every day! I guess because apparently that is what happens everyday at Midtown!! So her family rallied and called adult protection services and other services in line to try and relieve some of this abuse. The next time her doctor came in he was telling her that she was drama and if she acted that way in his office he would fire her! Excuse me? Who's getting paid here he can't fire anyone he's the one getting paid he's the one that should be fired! I'm sure Ferrenbacher is a decent surgeon but his after care is so poor and lacking! He showed no empathy or even concern over my aunt's grave concerns! He is out of touch with his patients at the very least and refuses to be responsible for their care if they have to stay because of their injuries. My aunt was on her own. No advocate in sight as these so called professionals made false accusations and reports on her as retaliation for our reports of their abuse, neglect, mistreatment and misconduct.
