I think Jan is amazing and I apologize for Logan, I will ask about that and he did surgery on my guinea pig, everything is going great and she is still alive! Never better!! 😁😆 Again sorry for the bad reviews. AND everyone is just being a hater yk but if something bad happened definitively share!

My 89 year old mother has 3 teeth pulled by Dr Slapnicka and she was very pleased with the process. The Dr was very nice and didn’t hurt her.

Jan Slapnicka removed my bottom two wisdom teeth and he did a terrible job on my bottom right tooth. He took out his day on my bottom right jaw. I got a fever the next day and I am pretty sure I talked to him about it on the emergency hotline and he said that my 103 fever was not related to the procedure and that I should go to the emergency room. (I doubt that) He also told me that he doesn't recommend my upper wisdom teeth be removed but now I don't trust his judgment. put a lot of trust in this doctor and he let me down big time. I got my procedure done at aspen dental in Angola.

In December, Logan had his wisdom teeth taken out. As many of you know, it was a horrible experience for him. He woke up half way through the procedure and remembers the last 2 teeth being cut out and being sewn up. As if this wasn't bad enough, he was also not numb. He told the doctor to stop and was grabbing his arms. He remembers them wiping his tears and telling him that he was doing good and to be still. The dentist never stopped, he never came to get me, and he assaulted my son. I say this because any man/person that can do this to anyone is an abuser. I have spoken to a lawyer who informed me that, unless my child died, there is nothing that can be done to dentists in Indiana for Malpractice. This happened at Aspen Dental in Evansville on Greenriver Rd. In front of Eastland Mall. The surgeons name is Dr. Jan Slapnicka. If I wasn't so concerned for caring for my son that day and could have thought, I would have called the cops and pressed assault charges. After Logan walked himself to my car, without assistance because he was so awake, I went back in to the office and confronted Dr. Slapnicka about why my son remembered everything and why he didn't stop. He said "if you bring him back in, I will numb him up some more." He also told someone else to tell me, "if she brings him back, I will stab him in the lip with a needle and she will see he is numb." What kind of a person says things like this. Please avoid this place and this doctor!! I am contacting the Indiana dentistry board, since it seems that lawyers can't do anything about this. On top of all of this, I prepaid for this, then the day of surgery, they charged me $58 more, and this week, I received another $96 bill in the mail.

Dr. Slapnicka and his staff were extremely professional and efficient. Had emergency tooth issue. They worked me in immediately even with having a full schedule and did an outstanding job. Very caring about the dental services provided. Highly recommend Dr. Slapnicka!!!

I saw Dr. Slapnicks this year for a biopsy of a suspicious lump in my mouth. I read his credentials first, which are impressive. He interviewed me about the problem before doing the biopsy. He listened to my concerns and took them in to consideration. He took the biopsy quickly, without pain. It didn't hurt or swell afterwards. He showed concern about swollen lymph nodes in the neck and wrote a referral to an oral surgeon before I left.

Excellent surgeon with a phenomenal team around him, could not recommend him more highly!

Dr. Jan S and his team did an excellent job of removing 3 of my Wisdom Teeth. No issues! No Pain! Little bleeding on first day and I have been taking pain killers for the first 4 days and it's Day 5 and I am at work. No swelling! I have been on liquids for the last 4 days! I highly recommend Dr. Jan S!
