Horrible doctor. I was supposed to have a spinal fusion done by him. Thank God he scared me to death after the first visit. He explained literally nothing. I went home & started reading about the surgery & immediately was terrified that he explained so little for a major surgery. I called 2 times with questions, & the 2nd time, the nurse Heather got really angry with me & said I had to meet with the dr so we could be "on the same page". I explained that after my reading, he literally explained nothing about the surgery to me, & I was told to find a different dr. Horrible dr.. instead of having my surgery in Feb, I had to wait on a new dr; I was in horrible pain for an extra 3 months, until I could get into another surgeon. Go to a neurosurgeon if you are having spinal surgery. This guy literally doesn't cut it.

Definitely the best spine surgeon in the Evansville area. Would highly recommend Dr Conaughty. Great clinical and physician assistant. Friendly front office staff as well at Tri State Orthopedics. When I woke up after surgery the pain and numbness in my arm and fingers were gone.

Was very happy with my surgery and all the staff of which I dealt with the only point I had trouble with was trying to set everything up I was still working 10 hrs a day while trying to catch phone calls to fulfill all of my end of the paperwork while working which is possibly to some extent my fault . extremely happy with my surgery!

Dr Conaughty took his time in explaining what I needed done and did not rush me through the process. Surgery went well as well as the follow-up post surgery. I’ve had a great post surgery experience and recommend his work.
