I brought my one month old son in gif breathing difficulties. Dr. Alaimo intubated my son and saved his life. He is doing great today.

Terrible! He misdiagnosed my problem and didn't listen to the symptoms I said I was having. He said he "thought I was getting shingles". I have had shingles and what I was experiencing was nothing like shingles. I returned to another ER 3 days later with same symptoms. Staff and provider much more concerned. After extensive testing including bloodwork, CT w/contrast, ultrasound and MRI it was found to be my gallbladder which I had expressed my concern about to him. Two days later surgery was performed to remove the gallbladder. I will never recommend anyone to see this so called doctor.

I can’t rate an actual visit with him because I never saw him. He just decided to avoid seeing me in severe pain, have a physician’s assistant do one test and send me on my way, all while still in severe pain. All they cared about was getting me out the door. It was bad enough having to seek help and to be blown off was unreal. The next day I was forced to go back to a different ER where I saw a real doctor and found out I needed surgery. I was thankful never to hear this doctor’s name again until I just got a $1400 bill for his signature on a discharge paper. Just unreal for someone who has never seen the patient and was negligent in their care!!!

Fantastic! I was in the ER for the second time in a week with problems breathing and sleeping. Dr. Alaimo took the time to listen to everything I had to say, knew about a fairly rare health condition I have that almost no one else knows of, and provided insight into what he thought was going on. I left with no hard-and-fast answers but with hope and a plan.

Dr. Alaimo ignored fundamental symptoms of a medical crisis. He condescended to me during our two brief conversations. When I mentioned my background as a sexual assault survivor. Dr. Alaimo decided to respond with: “I don’t care about any of that.” He essentially accused me of being a drug abuser. Despite the fact that the only drugs in my system were legally prescribed. But I guess he didn’t hear that. He had no interest in hearing a word I said. This man is not a Doctor, and he does not follow his Hippocratic-Oath. Do not trust him. My visit occurred on Sunday, February 28th, 2021. At Franciscan Health Lafayette East. Do not visit this ER unless you’d like to be seen by a condescending-narcissistic-abusive-doctor. You’ve been warned. I’m sure the evil man will find a way to get rid of this review. Hopefully enough people see it before he does.

He saved my dad's life. He was in a car accident and Dr. Alaimo had to cut a hole in his throat so he could breathe. Incredible doctor.

Popped my kneecap out of place, I was terrified and in a lot of pain. Dr Alaimo was great! Reassured me and had my knee back in place painlessly in no time!
